WOW i can't believe this was made in 48 hours! your aesthetic and tone is consistent, i did not expect a battle system with the cat and everything felt like a long lost gameboy title without the LCD ghosting! You deserve my first perfect rating of the jam!

II really enjoyed my time with your game, and it made me laugh, which is pretty impressive! The little intro gave it so much personality, and it kept it throughout the whole session.
I wish the "fights" had more lines though, because a good part of what makes a line funny is the surprise. Also, I felt like there was no real logic sometimes as to what you were supposed to answer.
Good job, it really quality stuff that you made!
Really impressive! You managed to nail the GB feel, I specially liked the intro title which appears in the same way the Nintendo logo did on the GB.
It's also very well designed!
I encountered a problem however, I clicked outside the game window once and the game glitched out and the character wouldn't stop going to the right afterwards. In fact, pressing D would stop the character.
Also I think the control scheme wasn't the best for this kind of game, because the Enter key is pretty far from the other keys, I personally prefer Z, X and the arrow keys for 2D games.
I still loved it, very good job!
Cool game, especially for something created in 48 hours, with custom music and all! Nice devlog. :)
There are unfortunately a few bugs, such as being able to walk out of bounds in multiple locations and the game crashing in a few instances (no progress is saved so you have to start all over again...). Overall though, I thought this was a great entry!
Really enjoyed this, some good humour in the dialogue and characters. Great entry to the jam :)
Great polish, absolutely loved the intro and how it played out. Very effective. Also adding extra stars for “poop tax”
If I didn't know that you made a majority of this game in the last 6 hours of the jam I'd never believe it. What an an incredibly fun and polished RPG, you've made in such a short time. I'm only sorry I didn't play it sooner. Your changing of the graphics was pretty neat, I love the gameboy aesthetics, and all of the super cool effects you did. NPC's were funny, the dialogue was great, and the action elements were fun. This game smells like, Fine wine and plays like soft cheese. Battle music was a very enjoyable. Overall I really enjoyed it. Only issue was the clipping error at the bottom but that could be very easily fixed! Had to give you 5's across the board.
This is a really fun and funny game. Like someone else said, it kind of has that NewGrounds feel to it. Can't believe you made it in 48 hours! Great job!!
The pallete change is super cool and I enjoyed the Gameboy look and feel a lot. Great job!
Dude u actually made an rpg in 48 hours. Really impressive ! Good job :) Polish is just top notch
Beautiful entry. I like the gameboy-esque graphics a lot. That intro was also really well done. Easily my favorite moment of the game. Telling the story without text is exactly how it is done! Good job. Two things that could be improved:
- The collision detection is a bit broken. I've managed to get out of bounds at the bottom of the map and could just walk up right into the castle, skipping the whole game and going straight to the boss fight
- The boss fight was also a bit anticlimatic. I've just pressed the first action over and over and won without any trouble.
Cool entry. Good job!
Actually did the speedrun https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WONXgOxQH9c :P
Great game! My feedback. Probably you have put the player in a big environment from the beging and becouse of the it was easy to get lost. In adventure games dev usually restrain the player from the start and then gradually open space or give a straightforward goal so the player can explore the game while progressing to the main goal. Other aspects of the game are great!
Cool graphics, gameplay feels a bit tedious, not sure what my goal is from the start.
