Definitely the best looking and most artistically creative game I've seen so far in the jam, it looks awesome! As others have mentioned, some nice 80's synth music would be a nice addition, and I found the movement and aiming both being on the mouse a little difficult, paired with the enemies having a longer view range than the player.  Great entry though, definitely a stand out of the jam!

Classic run and gun gameplay!!

This is a great looking game, you could really up the 80s-ness of it with some retro music and crazy effects on the screen.

The movement and shooting felt a little glidey at times, and I found it difficult to avoid in a direction and aim to shoot with the same mouse direction at times. Apart from that this is a solid submission, great job!

Looks great, controls are pretty good, and i like the SFX. This game just needs a bit of extra juice and a cyberwave or similar soundtrack to go along with it and then i'd have no complaints!

This is really great! Looks great, and it's fun. GJ!

Interesting art direction, really like the consistent look! I kept naturally wanting to hold LMB and keep moving towards the mouse… but I had to keep clicking instead. A simple improvement would be to check mouse holds rather than mouse presses.

But pushing further, the mouse controls might not have been the best fit for the run and gun level design. It’s hard to make dodging projectiles enjoyable when you cannot move around and shoot at the same time. Besides that, great looking entry with pleasant colors!

Wow, this game sure looks unique.

My only two points of critique would be:
1) this game really need some background music
2) the controls are wack
It would be much better if the player could move using WASD - with LMB one can dodge the bullets just as well, but has to click all the time + drag the mouse between two places - where one moves and where one shoots, which is kinda annoying.

Also, it would be nice to add some kind of miniboss to the game? Idk.

Love what you did to the assets. Would be nice to add an option to swap mouse buttons for us MOBA freaks.

Awesome use of the art pack, and I love the neon vibe!  I thought the controls were a bit unusual, but worked.  Also, I don't know if I missed a key or something, but I wanted to save that person who was trapped, haha!  Anyway, good job on the game!

Really creative use of the assets - one of the best I’ve played in terms of visuals! Good job!

Great game, the artstyle definitely stands out from the rest of the jam! However, the lack of keyboard controls was a little hard to maneuvre.

Really unique style that stands out from the rest. Great work on this entry!

This is visually very nice. One of my top two favorite 3D entries in terms of the look. The controls are very awkward though. I would really have liked to be able to move more smoothly and have a standard top down shooter keyboard+mouse control scheme. Or if it's going to be pure mouse have it be more strategic, even turn based.

Great art style!  I agree with most others in that the gameplay could use some work, but your collisions and firing mechanics felt fine for the most part.  I think it's mostly movement and having some more variety in weapons and enemy types.  Still, a really strong entry for your first game jam game!   Good work!

Visually, the game looks great. I'm not quite sure what the advantage of the movement system is, though. It would feel less clunky if you could just move freely with the mouse or WASD or something.

Great use of the art. This game is definitely a vibe haha. Solid work for a first jam.

Moving is pretty challenging and doesn't feel super responsive. Almost soapy. You could try and mimic the feel of the movement in something like League of Legends.

Keep up the jamming!

Wow loved the aesthetics of the game, it's very pleasant to watch! Gameplay is pretty simple though, maybe with more mechanics could be a great game!

Awesome esthetic, what you did with the art assets is impressive.

Controls didn't feel great though, lacked feedback and game feel for both moving and shooting. Clicking ahead and sliding past enemies while shooting is cool, but the level design didn't quite incentivized this enough. These are simple tweaks but they could improve the game a lot.

This game looks incredible, but the game play isn't particularly fun. Still a very cool entry.
