Where is the source code? Or how do I get them?

Well, it's a shop game and it works, so you have the going for you, now with the problems:

1) Haggle system is completely broken, you can pretty much get anything you want with 0 golds, therefore you'll just keep getting profits for free, and another thing is that why would you willing haggle with a customer, which would reduces the money you earn? Why is that even an option?

2) There's quite a few game breaking bugs atm, I broke the game on my second run by haggling below 0 G, which drops the number to NaN, and I bought the item which just turn my gold amount to NaN.

3) The status text about who's entering the shop will sometimes get overlay over one and other

4) Movement speed are a bit too slow for my taste

Overall I think its fine? I think for a shop game it got all the basics right, but I think it still need a bit of work and some special mechanic to stand out.

With a shop like that you could potentially sell all the sprites in the bit pack as an item :D

Also, I found that I could haggle any item they wanted to sell me to 0 gold

I have to say what you have here blew me away, it's quality is amazing and the game is fairly complex. I just wish you had worked with some layering and fixed the alpha issue with some sprites.

Thankfully I didn't have to worry about rats. Keep up the awesome work.

The layering and “alpha” issues were intentional? I wanted all of the sprites to have a black box around them, as if you were on a old system that couldn’t handle transparency.

Ah okay, it seemed a bit out of place to me, sorry :(

This is a very rounded experience! Such detail in such a small window of time! I'm really impressed, congratulation!!

Im a big fan of Recettear, so how I missed this amazes me.  It's cute, and makes me want more to do!  Haggling feels a little strange, since prices just seem to be either random or go down...regardless of selling or buying.  Also there was some kind of issue where my gold became "NaN'  or not a number.  Sounds like something messed up the variable that stores your gold, or it had a type issue of some sort.

Regardless, this was awesome to check out, great work!  :D

Here is a pic of the NaN issue.

Nice little game and I love the retro design choices you made here. I encountered the same bug as others did, and I was also able to haggle everyone down to 1g for their items (I wish I could do this irl)

Otherwise this game is really solid and well put together for a jam game. There are a lot of mechanics here so it's impressive how well it works for such a short dev time. Well done!

This game is adorable! Super well put together, the sprites use and polish is great. The gameplay does get repetitive after a while but it's so cute to see the lil guys move around. Also got a laugh out of me when someone just tried to run off with my wares.

Similiar bug where I bought nothing for 0g and my gold was set to Nan.

I fee the pace of movement could have been picked up, but overall it was a pretty cool game design!

Solid game. Had a bug on day 2 where someone offered to sell me “Nothing for 0”. I accepted and my money was set to NaN, and I was able to afford everything that people offered me for free. Other than that though, my only criticisms are that I felt the game was a bit slow at times, and I also wish there was a toggle for the intense post processing as it got a bit tiring to look at after a while. Overall though, fun game!

Interesting game over all, maybe a bit long but its very stylish well done!

OMG it's Recettear 1-bit - soo cool :D

Sadly the post processing hurts my eyes quite a bit so I only made couple of sales.. somehow it feels wiggly with the scanlines.

But so cool! Great job!

You can turn that filter off with Q! There’s a little tip about it on the title screen.

Thanks, I missed that!

Nicely polished and good use of the assets. Though i feel like there was some jitteriness due to the cpu usage, perhaps you might want to include a windows export? Overall 4 stars, well done!

Very cool game, I like the filter and how polished it is :-D
