Really neat game.

Nothing to complain about, everything is well thought out, an animation that may be better but in a limited time, it is clearly superior, especially when a story has been worked and the game design is clean, we usually say we would like more content but there is a lot of puzzle, very satisfied with the game.

I assume you are referring to Ucogi's win animation. That's the only animation I feel it was rushed (done from scratch in about 3 hours time). Thank you for trying the game and for letting me know how much you liked it!

I'm not even going to ask how you were able to fit so much into a game jam game, that alone is impressive. I mean a whole story? I think I speak for everyone when I say the game was quite fun. I noticed from the beginning that the art was quite clean so bonus points for that. Maybe next time you could make the tutorial comprehensible in a shorter manner. Asides that, great entry!

I'm glad that you had fun with the game. The ninja segment was made in 27 hours of no sleep. The worse thing actually was to make the "back" button (during the clock and map puzzles) disappear when it needs to. That stupid thing took me 5 hours to make right!

I already thought of ways to make the tutorial shorter, I'm waiting for the Jam to end in order to do some fixes. Thank you so much for your positive comment and for your kind words!

The amount of work you put in your game is insane. How could you make a full story in such short amount of time ?

The graphics, animations and sounds are also really cool (even i prefered the puzzle part to be honest x))

Regarding puzzles : they were actually fun to solve ! The mechanic was well explained and i never felt lost. Maybe even too easy when we understand what pattern do we draw (especially for hours), but it was really fun anyway, especially the hacking and chasing part !

To me it was a professional work, it's very impressive actually. Great job !

I'm glad that you mostly liked the puzzles. It's the part that I was most anxious about, since I didn't had the time to playtest it with other people. The story was not whole, as it is not explain what was the mission about and the ending was a bit sudden, but thank you for your kind and uplifting words!

Nice game !

The visuals are really neat. Though I kinda agree with the main character visuals being a bit too sexualize for a jam game. but I guess it's a matter of perspective & it's not that much either, just not used to seeing that in jams. ^^

In term of gameplay : the puzzles are nice & very fun to solve once you understand how it works. The tutorial part was a bit long compared to the actual game were you solve them while being chased.  but managing to produce both a very clear tutorial & some fun gameplay in 10 days is already an acomplishement on itself. so kuddos on that :)

Good work :)

Yeah, poor Ucogi, everyone has problems with her boobs! Interestingly, I'm watching a documentary right now, called Kid90, where a teen star had breast reduction surgery due to peer pressure.

I'm glad you liked the puzzles and that you found the tutorial to be clear. These two things were my main concern. Regarding the tutorial, Rudy gives you 6 puzzles as she teaches you how to play, and after she leaves you got to solve another 8 puzzles. But yes, if you only count the chase as the actual game, it's true that this is a short segment. Like you said, it's a matter of perspective.

Thank you so much!

Visually this one is cool, aside from the over sexualization of the girls, but that's just an opinion.

The puzzles were fun but the tutorial was a bit too long, the concept of how the puzzles work was not overly difficult so the explanation could have been a little shorter or allow an option to skip it once you understand.

Obviously there was a lot of work done here and its pretty impressive that you managed it in 10 days.  Nice job.

Developer (1 edit)

Not sure how Rudy is oversexualized, if anything, Dedu makes fun of her of not being feminine enough. And don't slut-shame poor Ucogi! She is dressed casually and she is more modest than... Jessica Rabbit! (From what I know nobody has a problem with Jessica Rabbit!)

The tutorial may be a bit long but you actually play and getting prepared for the toughest puzzles. And I wanted to be sure that everyone understands the game's mechanics, as they are fairly original. You do have the option to skip some dialogues or even get directly into the mission by pressing the "Finish" button in the start screen.

Thanks for taking the time to play and comment.

Cool game! What's up with the focus on boobs? :) Impressive work with the art.
Compared to all the other games in this jam, this one actually takes a lot of effort - it took me a good 20 minutes to go through the tutorials & exercises. I didn't have time to make it to the actual game... hopefully I can give it another try later.  But in principle the brainy puzzles are very cool (I also have a background in actual cyber security / hacking which helps, although the game is very different from reality :))

Developer(+1)

Finally someone appreciates the work I've done! I would love to add some real life cyber security jargon to explain why everything happens. This was my attempt to make it sound as legit as I could. Someone with more knowledge could do a better job than me in the hacking justifications, but it conforms me to know that most movies and games  differ from reality! I'm glad you liked the boobs... I mean the puzzles!
