Does your game contain AI-generated content?
Yes, GitHub Copilot was used to help with some of the code and some of Neuro-sama's voicelines were added to the game.

How does your game fit/incorporate the theme of the game jam?
In the game, the player must obtain the ancient potato, but in order to unlock it first, they must collect 4 relics of neuro's past, which also grant certain buffs to the player. These relics (ant the potato i guess) can be classified as remnants of the past.

Was a lot of fun! The graphics and the 3D models look great.

I enjoy it a lot! I think that the battle system needs more work (like more variety in weapons, enemies attack, ships, etc. to not feel repetitive so soon) but for a gamejam is pretty good! Furthermore, I don't know if its intentional but you can hold left click and start shooting like a machine gun, I found it interesting XD.

Great work! If you continue to work on this after the jam it will be a very fun game!

i like this game! the pirate battles are nice and i find the style and execution to be quite creative. the bullets traveling in slow-mo with the red trails feels good to dodge, like superhot. zombies boarding the ship is really cool too. love the evil robo, neuro and cerber models. i think the gameplay and combat needs a bit more variation, but i had great fun as it is. good job!

Very interesting game play, I think with some polish this can be a really good game! Great job!

It was cute, fun and creative. Difficulty was a bit too high for me, I think encounters should be more varied, they have more health each time which makes the game a bit tedious.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! For sure the difficulty could use tweaking, atm it just upon encounter randomly adds to the hp of the ship and modifies the spawnrate of the enemies depending on how many encounters there've been (max 5 I believe), so the difficulty ends up a bit luck based towards the end, but for sure could add some variation, like more enemy types, natural disasters or curses or something to spice things up, but didnt quite have the time, alas. The left-most relic actually gives the player +50 max hp, so that might've helped a bit with the difficulty as well, but i do think the buffs should probably also be handled a lil differently, so it's more clear what they do/how to get them

I really enjoyed this game - it was an amazing 20 minutes of my life! I especially liked the music (it kind of reminded me of the music from a children's game, if I’m not mistaken, from SpongeBob), and of course, the gameplay. And that funny victory animation was great. I’d play more, and I hope the game will continue to develop—more upgrades, more levels, and so on.

Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it! There's definitely lots of room for expansion!

it's a very interesting game!but camera sometime gets stuck in the wall,

Developer

Thank you! Yea it's a bug I tried to fix by making camera zoom in when player isnt visible, but that was glitchy, so i moved onto other parts and didnt have enough time to fix it in the end :(

Loved the game! Wish there was a way to get more cannons, but appart from that really fun!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yea the cannons thing was something I talked myself out of, cuz i thought the game might've become too easy, but in hindsight nah, it would've probably just removed the tediousness that may appear in longer combats, but glad you enjoyed it regardless!
