Well paced, pleasant writing, a fine old fashioned short story. I personally hate the "lost parents" trope so I'm glad it didn't really focus on that angle. A nicely grimdark entry!

I agree, but it says in her description that she is an orphan, so figured I would throw it im there to tie it into the actual character. Thanks for the feedback!

great start for her story, hopefully you will write more with her in the future!

Thanks! I was going to write an original character first, but decided to go based off the new campaign. I will likely end up writting an original character next time

Ben, you’ve done a fantastic job bringing Constance's world to life. The way you’ve tied her backstory into the narrative really adds depth to her character, and the ending was as grim and fitting as it gets. There’s some room for tightening up the pacing, but overall, you’ve created a gripping tale that stays true to the grimdark essence. Keep pushing those boundaries—this is solid work!

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words snd the feedback. I feel like it is really rushed and wished I had 3 pages, but that isn't on brand for OPR lol
