Incredibly spooky! Writing it from the perspective of someone that's been corrupted by the eldritch horrors outside was really clever, and the whole idea of fighting to keep the torches lit was suspenseful.

Admittedly, I don't know much about OPR stuff, but I already love the Shadow Stalkers thanks to this story.

Creepy but the best possible way. The parallel to the cattle leather was brilliant.

Definitely one of my favourite! Had a Smeagol vibes I really enjoyed

Highly articulate word choices that convey the mood of a villain /insane individual who is their own hero of the piece, good job!

You've very effectively taken us inside the mind of madness with this piece. The ending felt a little rushed; you could have spent a little more time there really evoking the dark grandeur of the shadow lords. But a very effective work of writing nonetheless!

Love this piece! I was worried that no one would write about the Shadow Stalkers, you do a great job at capturing the Lovecraft meets Tim Burton vibes of the faction here
