thank you!!! Honestly!

oh this was 100% inspired by Halo, I think the Infected Colonies scream “Flood” way too much for me not to have dipped into similar storytelling. I was 100% inspired by Halo CE, yea.

I am really glad you enjoyed it though!

really enjoyed this piece! Glad to see someone else writing Plague Boys

The voice inside of Dimitrios’ head was exactly that, a voice inside of his head. It was the Plague itself trying to wear down his resolve.

I’m really glad you enjoyed the piece! The story actually is about the Infected Colonies Faction instead of the Alien Hives. Noctifer was the personification of the plague’s will in a Necromorph/Flood type fashion. The Plague as a whole has a gestalt consciousness based out of the Dead Planet named Noctifer, which has intelligence just because of the amount of biomass infected by the plague itself.

it has a vested interest in breaking the spirit mentally first before taking it into the horde, easier conversion and more of the host’s personality survives to be blended into the greater whole.

The Noctiferian Plague views the sector as cattle to manage and cull, if it can help other factions in exchange for more biomass or weaponry it will. Saves it from wasting bodies in a direct fight.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm happy you liked it!

thank you so much! I’m really happy to hear you liked it!

Thank you so much! I knew it might be hard for some folks to stomach, but thank you for pushing through anyways!

I think it’s mainly because as a raider faction, they’d do things for pretty much any reason.

thank you for the kind words!

Glad you liked it!
In one of the rough drafts he attempted that, but I decided it was too gory for the piece.

For the record, it wouldn't have killed him. He was too far infected for mortal wounds to matter anymore

Well I'm glad you think so well of it! Everyone wrote very well, I've loved what I've read from you as well!

Depending on what the next Jam is, and even if it doesn't fit, I was planning on writing consistently on the lore for the Noctiferian Plague! I'm really happy you're showing interest.

Thank you!

That means a lot to hear! I'm really happy you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much!

Honestly this gives me badass Metro vibes! Huddling together against the dark as it bangs on the shelter around you! Love it!

Love the whole vibe of this piece, it's a really good look on the Battle Sisters and I loved the ending lines!

Loved the whole vibe of this piece! Really sells the idea of the Undead rebuilding their old realm

The Jesters managed to feel like a Gang of Jokers, which I think fits them incredibly well. They're strange, esoteric, and occult, all of the best aspects of the aesthetic. Very good job.

Thematically this work is really stunning with the whole One Page concept, the elf gives me Morrigan vibes hardcore.

Threshold manages to feel like it was ripped straight out of a Horus Heresy novel, I love the writing style and I think it carries the piece really well.

From the start we are right into the action! Really good way to take the story actually. Love the idea of this nearly cartoonish reveal of the Hydra Infiltrator,

and just finished the piece, utterly hilarious, I love this a lot actually. I think it fits a really fun spirit that this fandom needs. Good work!

I love the first chapter of this work, utterly love it. Gives me old school cryptid vibes!

I love these rats! It's a really good take on what an attack by them could be like!

Love this piece! I was worried that no one would write about the Shadow Stalkers, you do a great job at capturing the Lovecraft meets Tim Burton vibes of the faction here

The dialogue here really fits with an otherworldly, loftier form of expression and gives a really unique aesthetic to the piece!

You displayed an insane ability to translate high-techworks into descriptions that actually give you the proper vibes for the equipment the characters are working with. Also, love the representation with Yrchale using they/them pronouns, gonna share this one with my partner!

Gives me 100% vibes of a weathered crusader sending a letter back to the mainland, which seems like the theme and vibe you were going for! I love it!

I immediately get Nordic skald vibes from the intro, which I think is great. The storyteller approach is very nice and I like that aspect of the story. Gives it a much more grounded and personal feel like your grandfather telling you warstories.

I like that the story immediately sets itself apart from 40k and other sci-fi by having the Orcs involved in diplomacy. The conversations that help build up the world of Grimdark are really nice actually! And Muckstard is a great, great character and not one I will be forgetting anytime soon

Another really good story! I enjoyed it a lot, really like the log style of the whole thing! I think the Guard caring about the Jackals and helping them get to TAO space, worrying about them first, is really good character development and worldbuilding!

Really enjoy the ending! Really not what I expected to be going on but I really do love it! Great twist on the idea!
