great train impression with the percussion. nice harmonies, too. I like!

I personnaly don't think it works that well ^^' I prefer the sounds of pat metheny's "last train home", which was my inspiration in the first place

Epic! The song really hits its stride around the 5 minute mark with that synthy lead and courageous chords. Sounds like the protagonist is very close to the engine! The ending leaves me wanting a followup, since I'm not sure if they succeeded in the end. Also love the Snowpiercer meets Train to Busan plot. Definitely one of the more creative ideas I've seen so far for this jam. Great job!

Thanks for your reply ! I thought I should not make a very bright ending since once the game ends, theoretically our hero must survive in hostiles snowplains.

Although the track is 6 minutes long and the instruments stay roughly the same the entire way through, it did not felt boring at all! I really like the melody and leitmotifs here! One thing to note is maybe some instruments have too much resonant I think so it sounds kinda wet? (don't know if that's the right word or not), but overall good job!

I still think I should have made more variations for the second loop. But thanks for the feedback !

This was a very enjoyable ride. Loved the melody in the first section. Going into the second section, I was very pleasantly surprised by the nylon guitar (?) coming back. I quite liked the bell-like sounds that really evoked a train. I loved how this one just kept meandering and kept coming up with new interesting melodies and sounds to listen to. Great work!

Developer

Thank you ! I don't understand which melodie you're referring to ^^' but yes, I used  sounds of a nylon guitar

Choo-choo! I liked how you were able to approximate the locomotive's characteristics through the instrumentation on the track, with a build up in action towards the end - cleverly done.

thanks !

Alright for real though, I like how you put pitch bend and other effects on the percussion in order to invoke the idea of a train without boring the listener, very cool track overall

Thank you !

Melody and key change remind me of Dialga's Fight To The Finish from Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. That's a huge plus in my eyes! Really like the composition here.

Developer

That wasn't intentional since I don't play pokemons game but thank you !

Completely got me hooked all the way through, beautiful!

Developer

Thanks ! Glad you don't find it too long or repetitive ^^'

Not at all, very nice developing song, love the ticking sound

I enjoyed the train-ride with your music, great job!

Could use some more mixing to make the kick more prominent and even out the instruments since some of them are overwhelming, but I love the way you used the chord progression from 4:54 to 5:42. Good job overall!

Thx for the feedback !

I love the feeling of your track, the little ticks really set the vibe of the train ! I'd say that maybe, your melodies could be a bit more diverse. But apart from that, great job !!
