Description
It's an ambient / cinematic soundtrack. I used FL Studio. When I created this track, I didn't really think about what it could represent in the game. I was rather thinking about what kind of mood it could set myself into, what kind of emotion I could feel. Since I submitted only one track, I guess it is the main menu theme.

Message from the artist:
This has been done in one day, since I don't have time for the rest of the week. The theme really inspired me and I hope that you will enjoy this soundtrack. Thank you !

Theme:

Wish upon a star

How does it fit the theme?
Chimes and bells represent shooting stars, and i used samples of crickets and stuff to create a summer night ambience.

There is an amazing attention to details in this track! So many sounds layering together without being distractive, it is very well made and would fit perfectly with an immense world to discover under the twinkling stars. The audio quality is superb and it made me imagine beautiful landscapes effortlessly! Congratulations for this magnificent trip you offered!!

This is such a beautiful track that I think fits the theme really well. My favorite part is the use of choir to give it a more surreal sound. I hear a lot of similarities between your track and the first track I made “Where Star Kids Sing” which makes me think that we had similar inspiration from this theme and were driven by the same emotions. This is a very well-done track and I could listen to it on repeat for hours! Thank you so much for sharing!

I can really imagine exploring a forest or something similar in game with this in the background. Very cool track!

great composition, I love when the percussion kicks in at 1.30. This is a really good ambient and cinematic soundtrack, and superb quality, thank you for sharing!

Many people have submitted great tracks to the compo, but you've done a great job at making an actual soundtrack - a track that is meant to accompany something else, and narrate it through music without being intrusive. I would love to play a game with a soundtrack like this, honestly. You do a great job at layering sounds in the smoothest way possible. When I listen to this track, I feel like I'm surrounded by nature at night, with the biggest and most star-filled sky ever on top of me, feeling small but peaceful. Amazing entry!

Gives me ori and the blind forest vibes, really chill track!

I love the way this track builds up, especially when the choir enters. Great work!

Really relaxing, I could imagine this being in tv show (even though it's for a game). I love the choir too, very calming and wistful! (It also made me think of Doctor Who  😂)

The cricket samples made me flash back to the summer nights of my childhood like the bad guy from Ratatouille when he eats the ratatouille

I love the background with the nature noises. This is so calming and relaxing. Really beautiful when that choir comes in.

Hi, can you click on "edit this submission" and fill in the details? I forgot to add the fields before the jam starts 😅 Thanks!

Hey! That's done, thank you :)
But I had to tick both boxes for the theme choice.

Oh, thanks for telling, I fixed it now. Sorry about that hehe
