Strange Movement goes in a really intriguing direction around the 0:58 second mark, lovely contrast to the beginning and kept me interested for more. Final Hour is more ear candy, the tension created of the piano rhythm around 1:30 or so is really powerful. Personally, I would have put the snare drums a bit more forward/louder in the mix on that one. Regardless, very enjoyable tracks that would fit the game you described perfectly. Nice job!
Thanks! Really appreciate the comments :)
I really like that cadence in Strange Movement, and then.. These beautiful cascading piano parts! The song deserve it's name :)
Nice time signature effort in Final Hour. I expected it to go a bit harder as it is a final boss theme. But actually the more I went into the song the more it created mental images. I felt like it was evoking something pure as your track feels light and kind of angelic. At the same time, it has this emergency feel, reinforced by the time signature.
This was original in that sense and I think it fits with the astral artefact esthetics you talked about.
Nice job :)
Thanks so much! :) Really interesting to hear the mental images you got for Final Hour!
Very nice work with choir and flute.
Good job!
Thank you! :)
Strange Movement: The smooth high melody is really beautiful. My favorite part is at 0:57 with those really interesting and beautiful chords.
Final Hour: The synth elements alongside the piano sound so cool and fits a groovy battle scene. The odd time signatures are most evident in this track for me and has my head spinning trying to keep track of the downbeat. My favorite moment was when the piano takes over at 0:30. These are some cool tracks that I really enjoyed listening to! Great work and thank you for sharing!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed them and really appreciate all the comments!
I really like the polymeter thing going on in the first track! Nice job.
Thanks! I've wanted to try something like that for a while and the tick tock theme seemed like a good excuse :)
Wow, that's great! Nice sound selection and really interesting to listen! Well done!
Thank you! :)
very nice! listening to it, i'm very much reminded of Celeste, and that same feeling of uncertainty and determination that's present in that soundtrack. really like this one :))
Cool that it reminds you of Celeste, I love that soundtrack. Thanks so much! :)
this is a great little sound track
i rlly liked the synth sounds that were used and the switchups for both of the songs didnt feel rlly abrupt yet were still rlly different from the other parts of each song. also cool that the second track is in an odd time signature (but didnt feel jarring!)
i rlly enjoyed it
Thank you! I wasn't sure if the changes between different parts would sound a bit abrupt when first listening, so I'm glad you liked them :)
What a lovely piece!! Loved the layered structure of the composition and the synth melody in "Strange Movement". Great work!
Thank you! I really appreciate it :)
interesting style. beautiful soundtrack
