Description
My concept for this fictional game is a puzzle game called 'Little Fish.' The gameplay can best be summarized as 'Doodle God' in an aquarium, with the storytelling done in the form of a visual novel. You combine various fish types to create new ones, unlocking memories between the protagonist, 'Hai,' and her recently deceased grandmother.
The first track would be a title theme, and the second track I imagine happening in the late game, when the 'worlds' you're exploring get darker, and the fish get a little bit creepier.
I composed these songs in FL studio. Since this is a puzzle game, the music is meant to be more ambient, something that can help you focus.

How does it fit the theme?
For my submission, I considered the entirety of the image provided and tried to tie every element together to tell a satisfying story, which can be more fully summarized on the project page.
In the game, Mei enters 'bubble worlds' to access memories of her deceased grandmother. It's a journey into the psyche of a little girl, exploring her inner world, and the ways she deals with grief.

Deeper Water - Heh... switching to a rocking syntwave... Is this for particularly critical moments? It sounds scary, as if I'm listening to space (I know that sounds don't spread in space)

Beautiful pieces that work really well for the different worlds you describe! I would have loved to have seen a bit more overlap and commonality between them, so you could hear that the second, darker theme, was a natural evolution from the first. Really nice tracks!
Two very different tracks, I respect the variety. The synth work and choice of voicings in the beginning of the Main Title are really well done. Meticulously put together, I imagine. Deeper Waters is a little more driven as a whole and has some darker tones which I appreciate. Great work, and best of luck!
