i love this, dubious little creature getting up to some mischief (also HA i pushed u past 69 ratings >:) my villainy is unmatched)

i think u did a really good job here, especially with the little hints of the main theme's motif coming through in deeper waters, that was a cool detail

i think you did an excellent job of starting off all pleasant and whimsical, and then the last track's sudden shift in tone is a great "oh no" sorta moment, where u realize that the fun and whimsy isnt gonna last much longer. great job!

(sorry, it duplicated this comment when i initially posted it for some reason. apologies for any confusion that may have caused)

overall a very beautiful ost, really nice and cohesive thanks to the consistent instrumentation! a real gem to listen to!
the only suggestion i have is that oceans of fear kinda takes until about the 39 second mark to actually start sounding like fear - its not a bad song by any means, it just doesnt really set the mood as well as it could to start off with, imho. that sinister string duet paired with the chimes is really the key to the fearful atmosphere (and to ur credit, it does a good job of that), so try to establish that first and foremost instead of leaving it for later. (although maybe it was intentional, now that i think about it? idk)

apologies, im not that good at constructve criticism. i really do hope this is helpful in some way and im not just sounding like a jackass, because this is a very good submission!

"for your mind to fill in the gaps like the music is a mystery" is exactly what this felt like - like im at the bottom of the ocean, trying to piece together some obscure secret, accompanied only by the black waves and some guy absolutely killing it on the drums. the last song was a particularly nice change of mood, it felt like i had figured something out, and gotten one step closer to whatever awaits at the end. nice job!

honestly a really cool soundtrack, has a nice range of intensities while maintaining a cohesive vibe. The last couple tracks feel especially like being hopelessly lost in an unfamiliar wasteland. and i know this isnt music related, but narratively speaking, i find the idea of the "dying fields" kinda neat. it makes me wonder why they would have to wander away from their dwelling to die, as if their death risks bringing forth some kind of evil or misfortune, so they must leave as they die in order to protect their loved ones, resulting in a field where this evil has amassed over time. no idea if thats actually the intention, but it made my imagination run a tad bit wild, and thats pretty cool.

graveyard entrance more like raveyard entr- head explodes
highly enjoyable soundtrack to listen to, great job!

really loved the different iterations as it goes from chiptune to real, thats such a cool idea

absolutely immaculate vibes, such a cool and captivating ost

so weird and wonky, such an interesting and unique entry that i really enjoyed listening to

i could totally see this pairing well with a retro 80s crime drama type thing tbh, its really cool!

criminally underrated ngl, i really enjoyed listening to this

its so yoinky sploinky i love it

i would unironically listen to this in my day to day life ngl
kinda gives me risk of rain vibes, but more menacing. super cool!

theres a little guy living in my brain that tells me what to do

this is fantastic! the whole thing feels super cohesive without being too repetitive, and gets across the vibe of ur game idea really well!

really nice, chill, relaxing tune, this would go great in a game like that! if this were actually in a video game i would suggest removing the bubble pops and instead having them be diegetic sound effects separate from the music, but for these purposes it works fine tbh.

really underrated ost tbh, this is super good. it commits super well to the synth-y vibe that fits perfectly into the game it was made for

such an amazing fit for a goofy fish attorney game honestly

ok i genuinely loved the vibes of this, especially the complete 180 mood shift halfway through the second song that had me actually laughing (in a good way, after all that seems to have been the intention). very cool and creative all around!

might as well put this here, i suppose https://itch.io/jam/ost-composing-jam-7/rate/2845008
