Description
Genre: Ambient/Orchestral

Created in Abelton

These songs don't really fit into a game at least I don't really think so... but follows the theme and are all pretty ambient and very orchestral

Each piece has a reference style that I tried to copy in some shape or form and each piece can have its own interpretation .

In My World:

Reference - Million of you - ibbls ( right now its sitting at 190 in the jam #5 submissions https://soundcloud.com/ostcompjam)

Interpretation - So for the theme in my world, My first interpretation is when someone falls asleep and begins to dream. I achieved this with having an automated filter that cuts off almost everything then opens back up with a cymbal crash opening everything back up almost like entering your dream. Also using a lot of arps to keep it very ambient.

Worldy:

Reference - Silence - Mnevhttps://open.spotify.com/track/0aaoLBeXv7ofXsU8ybosjT

Interpretation - So for this piece I tried to copy a bit of Kensuke Ushio style, He's a Japanese composer whos composed for movies like silent voice, This reference song was also made to copy some technics he uses and fits into the theme again with the drop being a person kind of entering there dream in a sense.

Orchestral -

Reference - https://youtube.com/watch?v=jRcJp1i4Emo

Interpretation - I really like ATLAB probably one of my favorite shows of all time and I wanted to make an orchestral piece because I ran out of ideas. It also opens up like the others but its not really into a dream its more of just an orchestral drop that I tried to make invoke a sense of change or growth in a character.

Theme

Inside my world

How does it fit the theme?
When I thought of the theme I thought of how one would enter there own world and thought of dreaming . So each piece starts pretty soft of with less instruments and opens up kinda of symbolizing when you first fall asleep your not dreaming but after time you eventually enter your dream

Super cozy and warm feel to this soundtrack! I feel like I could have this on while playing Stardew Valley. Nice work!

I liked the percussion in the first track quite a bit!

Mxx... It's so sweet and happy!

You put some beautiful emotions in the 3 minutes of the soundtrack... and they shared it with us! Thanks!

This was a nice and happy soundtrack. My favorite was Orchestral. Keep it up!

Really cute songs, overall well composed! The only thing is that the orchestral sections are a little thin in the mix.

All right hey that's pretty sweet, you got some nice ideas I think you only miss some orchestration and arrangement on how to make it sound bigger, wider and more movement. Good job m8 !

I can hear those inspirations come through in each track. You did a great job emulating those styles and working them back into the theme!

Nicely done! I think you're selling yourself short thinking these couldn't be used in a game! You nailed the feeling of falling asleep and opening up into a dreamscape.

Very unique and fun submission!
