Description
"Hidden Histories" is an imagined cozy game where the player returns to their hometown antique shop and discovers long forgotten pieces of their own life and the lives of their family and community. This is a story of rediscovery of self and how each person contains multitudes if we take the time to look. The first track on the soundtrack (Browsing the Shelves) is the "default" music in sort of the main area of the shop. The other three tracks are connected to particular areas/objects the player might come across as they play through the story. I used Ableton to compose this soundtrack.

Theme

Inside my world

How does it fit the theme?
I chose this as the concept for my game for the theme "inside my world" because I think personal history and the stories of the people we care ab out can open up entirely new perspectives on others and ourselves.

Hey... you really did make a great soundtrack for the wedding atmosphere! I love it)

I liked wedding photos the best! The almost vocal sounding atmosphere was really nice!

I love the graininess of everything. This style fits great for your game idea. My favorite was "Wedding Photos"!

Don't know if it was intentional, but "Birthday Sweater" cuts off abruptly on the Soundcloud upload.

Great work!

Birthday Sweater is awesome! Gives me Stardew vibes. Love it!

I can picture the whole game just by listening to your songs, nice job :)

Very tightly knit OST, I can absolutely see the game that this was made for. I enjoy how soft and dusty everything sounds. Good stuff.

Very wise of you to choose a minimalist aesthetic. The delicacy with which you worked on each musical piece is remarkable (same quality of the objects you might find in an antique shop).

I loved the story you told with your music.

Beautiful!  Short and sweet. I could listen all day

Really digging the slower, more subdued style of this. The instrumentation oddly reminds me of Minecraft, but that's probably just because of how much time I've spent playing that.

I think my only real "problem" with this is that the bass on Postcards doesn't stick out very well, but that's a mixing issue more than anything. Composition-wise this is excellent.

Pretty nice ambient soundtrack, but feels a bit lacking. I think it could do wonders for this to establish a common motif, as overall the sounds chosen for your songs fit the description you added, but the way each song is interlaced to each other can only be attributed to the sounds rather than the music itself. Fav. track: Browsing The Shelves

Consistent aesthetic, and I loved your interpretation of the theme. Wedding Photos is my favorite, it's nostalgic and endearing, and it fits its idea perfectly. Nice work!

Nice calm ambience on these tracks, maybe a little simplistic in composition but I shouldn't cast stones because i have the reverse issue pretty bad.  Sounded pretty good to me.
