Description
I only made one chiptune soundtrack and this track represents a type of peaceful world with no conflict. Think of it like a Zelda type of game, You're in a grassy field with the sun beaming so bright its blinding. I composed this track using FamiStudio. Normally, chiptunes use trackers, but this gives it an actual feel of a real DAW, but in chiptiune form.

I can hear the obvious positivity, the sounds of birds and waves.... I love it!

I like the style a lot but I think the high whistle felt a little out of place sometimes. Like it was too prevalent. I'm assuming it's meant to represent a bird but it felt a tad too random and distracting.

I really loved the writing of this on a more grand scale, I think you wrote a song that does really well evoke that style of early snes games and i enjoyed it a lot! I think the noise could be a little less prevalent, either my making it a bit shorter or quieter. I also was a bit confused by that higher pitched whistle that came back, I think it was very reminiscent of a bird call which was a cute detail but i think if aren't going to add too much variation with it you might benefit from making it a repeated a few less times. But it is cute tho!!!! Well done overall, i did really enjoy this :>

Those glides on the synths hit so right

Nostolgic track! It captures the sound from those nintendo tracks compositionally, at lots of nice moments. Pleasant melody :)

This was very pleasant to listen to. Love the bird sounds! Makes me think of some smaller Pokémon towns a bit, definitely hear the LoZ influence as well. Good job!

Composing a track with so many sostenuto sounds is not easy when it comes to chiptune due to the harsh sound quality they usually have. You've done a great job Raiku!

This makes me want to blow out my game cartridges like back in the day.

Well done! This is the first chiptune submission I've come across so far, and you've set the bar very high in authenticity and nostalgia!

Oh, a FamiStudio entry! This sounds great; retro Zelda is definitely one of the first things that came to mind. The half-way point really feels like a throwback to the NES era of gaming. It's weird, feeling nostalgic not only for a game I've never played, but one that doesn't exist! Great job with this, hope to see a couple of more true-to-form chiptune entries!
