Description
Electronic music.
I though in a sci-fi RPG.
The first track is the opening, the characters entering the new universe. The second is the recognition of the "new world". The third is dumb/funny mood for a casual place, can be a market or something.
The DAW is Reaper. All of the synths are presets of SurgeXT. I used some samples as well, with processing (Delay, Reverb, mostly) in almost all of the tracks.

Message from the artist:
Use headphones. Hope you like it! Thank you for listening.

Really cool and clever composition. Well produced. Love the discordance in the final track!

Going in without reading too much.

Well, come - Really lovely synth you open with. And beautiful ambient texture on top too. Very mysterious. Now it's starting to sound really alien. I can see why you went with well, come and not welcome. It sounds a bit scary.

Newworldly - Definitely still in an alien realm. Not sure why, but I'm imaging a desert. But things are very otherworldly here.

Funny Place - Cool. This one sounds very whimsical. Almost a bit like carnaval music. I imagine this will be a welcome respite to get your bearings again in between the more experimental tracks.

Very interesting soundtrack. I think you've definitely succeeded in making this sound very alien without going overboard.

I like the suspisioucness of "Newwordly", really eerie music...
And nice wordplay with "Well, come!" ^_^
Good job.

1 - This is some incredibly cool ambience, and I really like the microtonality used.

2 - Unique harmonies (that I think overall imply Phrygian Dominant) and some more great ambience.

3 - 3/4 and some cool mode mixture! Love this goofy track.

Amazing work!

One of my favourite entries, great job!

Funny place wouldn't be out of place in a Zelda game

Cool sound design on the synths! They conveyed the spooky sci-fi mood pretty well.

Would have loved to hear more percussion, and maybe some faster-moving synths to add some interest and sparkle. The start of track 2 was also pretty quiet – I had to check and make sure my headphones were still working!

Definitely fits the mood from your game description. Good stuff!

The ambient textures and dissonant tones were very well done! Not sure if you’ve played Citizen Sleeper but  “Well, Come” seemed similar to that style of ambient cyberpunk music!

Developer

I've never heard of, but I surely will get a look on that one. Thank you very much!

The dissonance in the first two tracks is unsettling, but in a good way!
The third track is easy and fun to listen to. I can really imagine it playing at a market.

Developer

I'm glad to know! Thank you.

I like the fun, but kind of sinister vibe from Funny Place!

I appreciate very much!

The synth choice is great, the intro sets the mood very well, and the second track does sound “exploratory” :D

The third track, I guess, can be interpreted in finding out that the scary misterious unknown is harmless and friendly (in this particular instance)

Developer(+1)

You got my intention just right! I like your comment about the third track, I don't know if it's noticeable, by I used the same melodic material of the first track, so it definitely can be interpreted that way. Thank you!

I really like all these tracks, sounds like they came straight out of an indie RPG. Super cool!

Developer(+1)

That's such an awesome compliment, because I love soundtracks like the ones of Samorost 3 and Machinarium, composed by the amazing Floex. Thank you man!

Love the flutey lead synth on Well, Come! Nice vibes, good stuff.

Developer

Thanks a lot!

The out of tune and wobbly synths you used really set a great mood. All the instruments feel out of this world. I love the Funny Place, whimsical and fun, unlike anything I have heard here so far. Keep working on this soundtrack, it has great potential!

Developer

I appreciate! I wished I had more time submit a more complete soundtrack, so I'm definitely working on more music for this imaginary game. Thank you!

The second track really captures the feeling of discovering a strange and unfamiliar place. Very cosmic and mysterious. Nice one :)

Developer

Thank you! I tried to experiment with some polychords in that one.

Submitted

Today I learned what a polychord is. Thanks for enlightening me and maybe you'll hear some from me in the next jam :)
