Description
Genres/Vibes:

This soundtrack is very moody, medieval-eastern-ish, with added futuristic elements (mostly glitchy ambiance and bitcrush). Not sure what genre that would be in

The concept:

You are in the future (like in the 2100's or something) and growing up you've always heard these stories about a "Protecting White Dragon" around the village, even tho you never saw anything even remotely resembling a dragon. "It's all just stories, don't worry too much about it." they say. But you are determined to find out what happened to this dragon (named Lotus btw), if it's even real.

About each track:

Lotus Lair's Legacy: This song would play in the area near the old, deserted, overgrown temples ( look at the cover art *wink* *wink*) as you try to find any leads about Lotus. Of course you don't find anyone to help you, in fact you find barely anything at all.

Whispers of the Wyrm: With your findings in the old temples (idk what that would be exactly), you progress to some place (maybe a cave), where you go further in your journey.

About the process:

DAW: FL Studio 21 (and its plugins)
VSTs used: xpand!2 (for most instruments), serum ( for glitches and pads), crystalizer ( for more interesting delay effects i.e: reverse delay, pitched up delay)
Real instruments: Vocals (just whispering random stuff), Acoustic Guitar and Ukulele (mainly for effects)

i feel like i could've used my time more optimally but here we are

Message from the artist
I just wanted to use some fancy chords that's all

Theme

Chronicles of the Azure Sky: The White Dragon's Melody
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
I imagined a game around the idea of the "White Dragon" being missing and its melody being the only remnant (it's a leitmotif)

The art also helped taking me in that direction

Wow, very special atmosphere! I absolutely loved it. Im in no position to give tips, but i would just give a bit less protagonism to the drums in whispers of the wyrm, as the song is already Super powerful. Congratulations on this wonderful job. It is unique!! Enjoyed it a lot

Gave me stankface, super SUPER well done. Those melodies were hauntingly beautiful. Whispers of the wyrm man, oof. So good.

Bro you absolutely nailed the ambience here, the "glitchy" soundscape combined with the live instruments was very striking

Also respect for keeping the melody simple, it does exactly what it needs to. Banger

Wow, this surprised me. This is really, really well done. Loved the progression of the songs and the style, very eerie and dark. Good job!
