Description
The game I've gone for is a visual novel type, showing the Two Worlds (wink) between a newborn and a mother, and how they progress through their lives.

1 - It's A Girl:
This is when the mother gives birth to the baby, and she envisions her as the world's perfect little angel.

2 - Growing Pains:
In early childhood, the mother realizes her daughter is quite a handful, and becomes stressed trying to keep her under wraps.

3 - Hindsight:
The child is in their late teens and the mother is wondering where she would be had she not given birth to her daughter. She vents in a bittersweet desire to go back to where she was before.

4 - It's A Life for Me:
The mother realizes that having a child is it's own joy. Even if she'd been in a different position without a daughter, she still very much enjoys the relationship she has with her.

Theme:

Two Worlds

How does it fit the theme?
It represents the worlds of a playful child against a stressed out mother

Very unique and creative interpretation of the theme, I love it!

This was very pleasant to listen to -- I like how your story idea connects to the theme and I think you captured the emotional journey well! I also think it fits with your intended target of visual novel-type gameplay -- some tracks ("It's A Girl," "Hindsight") seem like they are meant to highlight particular story moments while the others ("Growing Pains," "It's A Life For Me") could be used to underscore the emotions of e.g. a dialogue scene. And it was cute hearing how some parts of the first track were echoed in the final one to bring everything full circle. Nice work!

nice mix of styles and use of leitmotifs!

Very nice melodies! Especially in 1 and 4. I like the call/response and how you pick up the theme with different instruments. Great jazz chord progressions too. These are all very well rounded compositions!

This is great work, and you put out a good amount of music in such a short time. My favorite was Hindsight, so well composed. Thank you for your work!

I can imagine each song and when it would happen in the game with the descriptions. My favorite would have to be the first track, it's pretty much exactly what I would imagine in that setting. Light, joyful, sweet. Great job!

My first all-5 star rating of this jam, and maybe even period. It's very theatrical and well-produced, almost sounding like it could have come from a Disney musical score--needless to say, I'm impressed!
