Yes
Summarise your game!
In our game, you are a little virus who is trying to become the top virus against all other viruses inside the host. The game is a top down shooter where you have limited amount of ammo per weapon, but you can also convert some of your ammo into minions to help fight for you.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Virophage is all about killing off other viruses and consuming them in order to become the most deadly virus around.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
We would like to have some feedback on the controls and the art as well.

It was fun i had a few bugs in the menus but overall very well done
Thank you!
this game was really cute, and all the elements looked really good! i liked the player upgrade features they all looked fun to use and creative. I think i was really confused on what was going on with the ammo and things flying at me tho, and eventually all the ui and game in general just broke :( it was really cute and cool and feels nice tho so good job!!!!
Thanks for playing our game! Glad you've enjoyed it. We didn't have time for play testing so there was definitely some bugs left out and some features aren't shown "clear" enough. Thanks for your feedback!
the fighting felt greally smooth, and the artstyle is lovely! sadly i had a few bugs that like being stuck at the options menue and the game keeps on running while being already dead, but other than that Good job! :3
Thanks for playing! We didn't have time to make a losing menu so we left it as it is. We'll look into the problem as soon as the jam ends and fix it
I liked the cute art style of the characters. Here are a couple of bugs I encountered: I can't go back from the options menu, the game keeps going on after my character dies, and my minions were hard to collect back (maybe the hitbox is too small?). I encourage you to keep working on it—the fighting options looked fun to play around with!
Glad you've enjoyed the art! We've genuinely forgot to add button to quit the options menu so we'll definitely fix this as soon as the jam ends. The picking up bullet was a bit sketchy and doesn't feel really smooth so we'll try adjusting it to make it feel "smoother"
The art style is super cute and I love all of the animations! Moving around was pretty straightforward, although when I first died, my character respawned still shooting, but I wasn't able to move them, so that was a bit odd. And then a little after, their sprite waddled down off-screen which was pretty funny, but I don't think that was intentional. Still, I enjoyed playing it and would love to see it when it's fully fleshed out!
Thanks for playing our game! Glad you enjoyed it. We rushed a little bit so didn't have much time to fix all of them bugs.
I love Twinstick shooters! I think there are some clever ideas in there. I think the characters are a little large, I felt like I cant see far enough ahead, but then again I tend to make my characters very tiny.
Thanks for your feedback, completely agrees! We should have make the characters smaller and make the camera bigger. Wish we could have a little bit more time play testing and polishing
Same, here there is so much that an extra day could have made, but that's on me not time managing right. I spent a whole day tweaking an already working and fine dash instead of fixing the broken UI, and shop, and enemy visuals.
Had a blast!
Glad you've enjoyed it!
So the game is definitely unfinished, which is fine, its a gamejam not everything is going to be perfect.
I like the artstyle, getting some "alien hominid" vibes from the main character.
The controls are a bit loose, like you are walking on ice, but that might also be a combination of the camera follow speed/lerp and the animations.
Overall i think this is a good start, with some TLC this can be a fun little alien virus "vampire survivors" game.
Thank you so much for the feedback, we were a bit tight on time so it's a bit "unpolished". I'm glad you enjoyed the art style and the character design. I appreiciate your feedback on the controls/camera and it's definitely slippery. I'll try to fix that as soon as possible!
