  • while I didn't feel that you hit the mark on the themes I think you have a fundament for an interesting game here in time. I would start by turning down the speed a little on the character, and try to make it a little less slip and slide :)
  • The game was challenging and enjoyable to play. However, the controls were a bit too slidey which affected precision and added a bit of frustration to playing the game. Overall, the theme implementation was solid, but would have liked to have seen more alchemy elements. Level design was fair overall with a good amount of challenge. Solid game.

Great job to you both, this was a really cool world to explore!
The character and robot sentry designs were so sleek, and the dialogue between levels really established the setting (although I didn't realise I could just 'click' to progress for a while so my early cutscenes were punctuated by jumping sounds, oops).
I loved tracking down the lil' collectibles, would have been cool to have a stat tracker somewhere to tell me how many I missed while I was running through! I esp enjoyed spotting one while plummeting to my death in the Moving Forward level.
Super well done again, I hope you'll keep working on it, it has a lot of potential 💚

Really nice game, I love the main character and animations. It's definitely a challenge, but in a good way. Stealth games are often kinda slow, so I love how fast the movement feels in this one (though I had some trouble controlling my jumps lol). Great job!

Oh no! I died multiple times during the tutorial level. Haha! Overall you've got a pretty solid game, It was tricky to stay out of the light and not get detected, but I enjoyed it. Well done!

Developer

Yeah I was worried the game might of been too hard, but I'm glad you enjoyed it regardless!

Love how fast and fluid the movement is! Great job :)

Developer

I'm glad it was a headache to get working how I wanted it.

Really fun! Especially the level Super Jump, that was awesome.

I do feel like the hiding mechanic could've been improved. For a lot of the earlier levels especially I didn't really see a use for it. Also would've been great if moving whilst hidden and then going back idle (while still holding down control) didn't require the player to press control again to hide, I already am pressing down the button, why let go?

Other than that 'twas great!

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed our game!

Developer

thanks for playing! super jump eas my fovorite level too! And you were originally supppsed to be able to crouch while running but the implementation of the crouch animation was rushed for the jam release, still im glad you enjoyed it.

Man that was some tough platforming for me, but as I got used to the controls it was satisfying to zip through the level. Maybe not so much playing into the stealth aspect but fun nonetheless :) It was a lot of fun, keep it up!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

yes maybe a bit too tough in some areas. I had gotten so good with the controls I had forgotten how it would feel for other players and by the time we had playtester feedback we had to go ahead and submit. Glad you enjoyed the game, it was such a joy to create.
