  • Very cute game with interesting story. Theme was lacking alchemy part and being a shadow creature is really weak take on shadow part as well. Really would like to see more of this game. Well done.

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
Yes, I mean it's not very amazing or informative, but yes

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
It's an action platformer, the idea is to avoid taking damage from light using your abilities.

Extra Notes
we have a mechanic for using elements, too, but there's 30 minutes till the end of the jam so I can't promise there will be a level that works with that :(

Thank you! Day 14 update is cooking :)

Beautiful backdrops and art. Nice atmospheric music.

I liked being able to look up and see an amazing view. It feels awe-inspiring because of how high I could look up, and get a sense of scale compared to the character.

It was a little difficult to visually tell where the light starts and ends, and some parts of the level seemed really dark like there was no grass to walk on (especially the part where it said "if you dash and jump just right, you might move faster.")

Thank you so much!

The distinction of light from no like was definitely a difficult part for us, we'll try to improve it in the next iteration, and with the very dark area was definitely unintentional, but I do know what you're talking about, so we'll look at that, too!

Gorgeous, I love it. The idea of making the main character be the shadow creature instead of the enemies is such a satisfying way to switch up the theme, and the adorable little Fennec(?) creature broke my heart. The background forest was so beautiful and the main character was so precious, I got major Ori vibes from it. I'm really sorry your upload got a bit glitched, but I can't wait to see the whole thing once the jam is over. 10/10 from me.

Fennec is accurate! I was so sleep deprived when I was designing it, I forgot what it was :)
Thank you so much for your kind words, I really hope it can live up to our vision.
