Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous and shown in a random order.

  • Split your text up so it's a bit easier to read and use a video to showcase gameplay!
  • It's ironic, but for a title whose literal title is actually also well in development... I was already hooked! The itch page was informative and it conveyed its features through illustration rather than words, for the most part. The only thing I could see someone be put-off by is the time it takes to wait for the game to be dropped~
  • Presskit link broken. Tweet could use some more tagging and call to action. The tweet is good otherwise - quite clear what the game is about.
  • Game concept explained well through gifs on the itch page Tweet needs more hashtags and should use one of the many gifs ( you could even make a small thread of 4-5 gifs)
  • Nice retro look and feel. Love the goblin premise. We think you could legitimately call it "Untitled Goblin Game" and it would work permanently. 😉 Suggestions: -- Recommend using an uploaded video for your Tweet for Pitch Ya Game, clips get much better traction. -- You can set your video to use a link to your page with Twitter Ad Cards. Jump in Discord and ask your team if you don't know how.

Cute concept! A little bit more text about what the gameplay specifically entails would help. Also, adding a call to action where people can snag your game would be great.

Also - not sure if it's just me but I wasn't able to access the link to your press kit :(

Original Concept! I like the retro gaming feel of it. Thanks for sharing!

The game concept is fun and I like the aesthetic. The tweet left me wondering what kind of game it would be so I'd flesh out a sentence explaining the core gameplay loop. Thank you for sharing!

Oh no, I guess I can't change that now?

Looks really cute and definitely my type of game! ^^ About the actual pitch: I'd try and make it a bit more engaging rather than a single line description that falls a bit flat. (and not sure if it's normal but the project is registered as comic on Itch rather than a Game?)

The tweet is good and to the point, it just needs backing up with a better visual element. You should attach a gif from your game perhaps?

Host(+1)

You should use the top gif for your tweet it could really help get attention

Cute idea! It sort of looks like it has an art app grid or a game dev grid instead of a video game room design type UI going on. The black text doesn't work that great either. Nice art though!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The grid and the basic black text is debug stuff, they wont be there in final release.

Its directly move you to page, nice selling point but there is to many visuals than any small info.. Maybe people also like to read something about your game in ur page. good luck

very to the point! Maybe lacking a bit of personality

+ Endearing little Goblin mascot.
+ Features clearly laid out despite early onset of development.
+ Gameplay already sounds super engaging.

- Maybe be premature to nitpick this, but being able to tweak the perspective; zoom magnification for instance would be wonderful!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I actually have game settings so you can change the HUD and text size whenever you want. I've also debug controls for zooming in and out, no reason I can't make them in-game settings too!
