Really cool retro style game, a little hard for an old man like me lol :)
My legit strat was to wait on the cloud until a heart balloon appeared, for guaranteed lives. It would be cool to have a "combo" bonus for number of jumps completed in a row. Game works really well and I really like the art!

"Gregory has found himself in the middle of the sky!" is excellent lore. The graphics and gameplay really sold that old-school arcade vibe. I wish I was better at it xxx

Lol yea I've been trying to make my games more story focused lately (not this one). Stories are kinda hard tho tbh. Thanks for the positive feedback too!
I really liked the acrade-y feel to this game. This was really hard so I couldn't stay alive for super long. I think it would be nice to insta-pop the balloon once you land on top, rather than having to press jump every time. Otherwise, this was super fun!

I actually wanted to make the game for the NES but programing for the NES makes my head spin.
Pretty clever arcade game, was really hard at first but once I got used to the timing I could do sick combos. I really like the old-school aesthetics.
