Pretty fun game really like the concept. I found that sometimes it looks like it hits the ghost but doesn't kill it? Overall nice submission
Bullets does go its full distance..... based on the mouse click so when you click the bullet travels to that location. Yeah I saw that depending on how you shoot the bullet would spawn a ghost right infront of you so I have to work that out. The ghost not getting hit is the hit box I rushed it so it not accurate to the sprite of the ghost. Thanks for telling me your thought :D

No your fine. When I submitted it, I thought about how people would respond to it and the industry really doesnt do the to_mouse anymore so that was fair to think that it wouldnt travel that distance. I do have an idea how I would do it so it does seem like it does go its full length
Similar to Houkime's comment, maybe you could experiment with adding a random chance of a ghost spawning even if you hit an enemy. Great idea for a game, Hope you build more out of it.

Though because bullet spawns ghost if missed it means that you always should aim _behind_ your target, otherwise the bullet just won't reach it even if you're aiming at the front edge of the ghost
Feels like a hitbox should be readjusted or sth
I plan to make a better version of this game since I like the concept alot so hopefully this one will fix the issues this one had (which is a lot).
Though at first that the bullet spawning ghost was a bug ^^ (or was it a bug transformed into a feature? ) Work quite well.
It was based off of a tutorial I was watching while getting an idea and the idea sprung into my head. I couldn't figure out a efficient way of making the bullets go pass the mouse position but I did turn a bug into a feature.
The concept was if you want to kill ghost it would make sense to use their substance against them. So you had ghost bullets but the problem was you had a soul in those bullets so the only way to take them both out is to kill them both on impact. If you miss the soul would break free and come after you for capturing it. So it was a cause and effect style game.
The feature was an interesting concept that I could probably use in a bigger scale game once I figure out how to get the projectiles to go pass the mouse position. Thanks for the feed back on my first game published!
For the theme it was necessary to choose on the name of the pools and not that of the levels :)
Regarding the gameplay everything works well but I would have liked the management of combo or mass explosion. :) It also lacks a little bit of sound / music ... But all in all it works and that's what's cool ...
This was my first game actually participating in a Game jam so I understand if there was a lot of things missing but I am happy to hear that the game play worked well! Thanks for the feed back too :D
All that was required to kill ghosts was to shoot behind them. Ez, could keep going for days.
