Simple and sweet! I enjoyed it. Loved the simple graphic style, and playing the little game to protect your nucleus from the right colors was fun! Cool idea!
Liking the art style and scientific premise.
The pick up mechanic was a tad finicky and the stage could be larger.
Nice Entry! Enjoyed your game! :( Some music would've slapped, but gameplay made up for its absence. Nice Job.
Simple game loop but I played multiple times. Adding some player upgrades like being able to attack faster/more damage or maybe like a one time use all material gets collected at once kind of power-up would be cool. Great game great job!
The presence of different types of enemies is pleasing, but there is not enough variety in gameplay (you can add character upgrades, for example)
Game concept looks contraceptive! started from 200+ wave, and oh god...
Hey! :) Really enjoyed playing your game and I can only chime in with camelezards critique. I also immediately forgot about the space key and wondered how you're supposed to defend for longer than a minute. So once I remembered you could do something with Space, it made a lot more sense haha :D
I wanna add the following critique:
So overall a great submission, especially for a 48 h hour jam. Awesome work! :)
thank you for the feedback !! it's very insightful, i just didn't really think about a lot of these things,,, as for the music, im not really a sound designer or composer, but i know it adds a lot to the experience, so i'll try to figure something out for future games (or even this project)
hey there! Guess what? I've also programmed on GMS2. I know it's not easy to do pathfinding, so congratulations! Your game is fun and there are some points you could improve.
Keep up the good work; I really enjoyed playing this game. <3
thank you for the feedback !!
Nice :)
