Firstly, the design of the game, makes my little heart very happy. Vibrant colours and fun looking characters. The game was fun, needs a bit fixing on the difficulty spikes but not a big train smash. Loved playing the game!
Really nice art and characters :) I can't draw a straight line to save my life. I was a bit unsure about what "battle" entailed but it was a fun loop!
I don't know what was going on or why I needed to press keys but I appreciate that the game was reasonably forgiving of my inability to draw in straight lines. A bug I noticed is that during the practice(?) sessions in round two the clock seemed to freeze on 30 if you made a mistake. As many have mentioned, the buzzer sound is rather loud and harsh but that aside the sound/music design is really good, as is the art.
Amazing artstyle you guys got going in this game I really liked it a lot. Think the cursor should be a bit smaller just so the player can more easily see where he's going and some balancing here and there, but still a great entry to the jam. Well done!
The art elements of this are great. There's a lot of charm to the character, aesthetic, and presentation! I like the idea behind the gameplay, although some sections felt extremely punishing whilst others extremely forgiving. The buzzer sound could also be a bit softer. It's rather jarring. xD
Overall, a great entry! I wish you the best in the jam! :3
Some things to polish, exit functionality, sometimes the controls feel very giving or way too harsh, particularly with the big cursor size it felt like on the gun in particularly I was nowhere close to that section and it was prompting a button press but if I was slightly left bound it was more accurate.
Overall very funny, and interesting concept.
I did not know what was going on at first, but seconds later i was getting the hang of it.
It was fun to move the magic wand and and wait to respond on the key that needs to be pressed as fast as possible.
I was banging my head while playing the game thanks to the music.
The art is soo cool and the sound effects are great.
I recommend adding an exit function or button for easily quitting the application .
Overall a fantastic game 👌🤩💯.
Humor-wise it's up there. Rather playful and a bit silly.
Nice concept, gives HP vibes whilst mixing in some Stick of Truth. The sound might need some altering in places.
Sick art. Very memey. loved the wizzard with boobs
I dont know if you guys played the original harry potter games (im old) Jump to 3 min in the video.
You just had simmilar mechanics and I thought it was funny you both went for the wizzard theme.
Sometimes the patterns wouldnt let me go in a certain direction, but other than that, it was a very clean game. Well done <3
Thanks! That was absolutely our inspiration! You're not that old!
HAHAHA! YAY I'm glad to hear it <3
Thank you so much! Really appreciate the feedback :D I think our Dev team ran out of time for UI by the end unfortunately (hence the narrative sadly not being as integrated in the current game build) but I definitely agree that a How To Play screen would be super helpful. Otherwise, definitely proud of how the game turned out, doing art and writing for this was a super fun experience! Thanks so much for playing :D
Beautiful art, filled with lovely little visual jokes, well done!
Thank you so much! :D
Fun game and interesting/ humorous art. Needs some polish here and there and could use in-game instructions. Although it all makes sense once you get going.
Thanks William!
Nice game and lovely art! Wish I could use my mouse or drawing tablet
Very cool! Awesome art also!
Sound effects hurt my ears a bit with the headphones haha.
I'm going to blame my terrible spells on sleep deprivation and not my obvious skill issue. Love the art style!
Rest young wizard, the kush remains!
