Cool game! Took a while for me to get down the controls, but after a while I kind of figured it out. Lots of room for players to improve their skill and their times. Great job!
I raged a lot during the game XDD
It hurts to not get into leaderboard without actually beating the game, but that makes it more addictive for sure.
I am not a fan of speed-run style submissions in general, but this one is very well polished, and has interesting controls (which we also tried to pursue in our game).

Super fun game! Incredibly difficult but in a good way!
I'm having a tough time coming up with some sort of constructive feedback. The game really works great as it is. I don't think I'm the target audience for this game, but I can appreciate it nonetheless.

Looks great. It takes a bit to get a feel for the controls. But the Sprites look really clean!

I don't know why it was so hard for me to get used to using space to grab instead of jump but I finally made it to the end :)
Maybe add left click to grapple as alternitive? Maybe that could help for the folks like me.
Other than that very well made short game. Would be more fitting for speed running but its still cool.

The tongue thing is a good mechanic, The fact that you have to watch the entire start animation every time you die is a bit frustrating
