The art style is marvelous here what the heck, both in the levels and in the story book! Music is also a banger :D Some sound effects would've been great, maybe for next time :)
That's an incredible art style, I'm in awe of how good it is! I feel that the jump was a bit floaty so I missed platforms and fell straight to my death lol great work!
Outstanding artwork and incredible world building. Really phenomenal for only 72 hours. My only wish is that the camera was pulled out a touch, felt like I couldn't always see what was coming next and would occasionally jump into an enemy without realizing they were there. Nice work overall!
Great intro and amazing art. Nice gameplay, the collision on ice platform sometime bug me out and I cant jump.

That Story book mode is unreal!!!! Fantastic job there. Does your game have an ending? -- I played a few times and never made it to the top 10 on the leaderboard so if there is an ending, I'm nowhere near it.... yet! :)

I think this is one of the aesthetically strongest games in this jam, it's very good looking. Great effort on the intro - above and beyond :).
Controls feel tight enough, but collisions with enemies could use a little more polish. A few gameplay sound effects would also be in order.

Great sound and art work! jumping and movment seemed to have weird how momentum worked but all jumps seemed possible so not a big problem.

Lovely art and intro sequence. Gameplay was good but I think a few small tweaks would make it even better: faster horizontal movement; more zoomed out camera; some option to avoid the enemies (either movement needs to be faster & more responsive to be usable for dodging, or maybe an attack/block of sort). Overall great work, one of the best entries I've played so far!

I loved the art style and the combination of 3D and 2D, my only complaint was that some of the platforms were not conveniently placed and it was a bit hard to jump on them

very cool style, i do think the lighting does make it look kinda jank, but the art??, really good!!!, the gameplay is pretty simple but fun!!!

This game looks absolutely amazing! I love that you made the camera go all the way back down to the start when you lose, it definitely gives the game a sense of space. The 3D and 2D mix works really well here. as does the lighting and all the small particle effects you have flying around. The aesthetic is top notch!
The music is really good, and works very well with the visual aesthetic. It has some instrumentation choices that definitely add positively to the whole videogame vibe lol.
In terms of feedback:
I think the jumping can feel a bit floaty at times, which I think you designed around given that sometimes there's really wide spaces in between platforms. It feels responsive enough and it's something you can get used to, but maybe it's something you could take a look at if you continue to work on this game.
I feel like sometimes it's inevitable to take some damage. A monster will spawn moving away from the platform you need to jump on, and since the screen is slowly moving up, you can't really afford to wait. This makes me feel like the game sometimes just decides to take a life away, instead of making me feel like I messed up. This can work if you design around it a bit more, like maybe making you jump if you touch a monster so there's a balancing act between moving and keeping your health up, or maybe having more ways of dodging the monsters. Just some ideas!
Having no sound effects was a bit unfortunate. I feel like it could add a lot to the game feel and overall aesthetic! It would make everything feel more alive and responsive :)

this are some great ideas you pointed out. the extra sound effects are definitely a great idea and making the jumping smoother or to optimize the monster spawns. :))
Jumping could be a bit smoother, but other than that, amazing entry - you all went crazy with the music, art, voice acting, etc. Really visually pleasing!
