The game does give a sense of calm, love the little cutscenes in the middle as well!
A very touching game with beautiful visuals and sound.
I'm not sure how to rate it without the highscore and leaderboard stuff, but I enjoyed a playthrough very much.
Very nice ambiance, with the animations, text and a beautiful usage of the music!
This game looks that was created with the heart, very lovely and sentimental.
Congrats :)
Lovely little game here, definitely think the visuals is the standout element, very unique! I agree with the other comments on the hitboxes being on the large side, but that's an easy fix :)
We got all the way to the tutorial level (I think that means we beat it lol) Fantastic job for your first game. Congrats on that. We liked the art the most!!
First off, this game looks gorgeous, congrats on that! All animations look fantastic and the general vibe fits really well with the animations for the story. Although it can be a bit disorienting because of how the 3d models and 2d sprites interact sometimes, with a bit of tweaking and maybe a shadow for your character it could be fixed.
Gameplaywise, I thought the game was pretty engaging. Hitboxes can feel a bit larger than they should be, and the wall jump thingy can feel a bit odd at times since you fly up really high when doing it. This sometimes left me feeling like I wasn't really in control, but it's nothing a bit more balancing can fix.
The music you chose suits the tone really well. I would have liked to see some sound effects thrown in there too, since it can also allow you to have a more visceral understanding of how your character functions. Things like having a jump sound that's timed to how high you can go or things like that go a long way in making you feel the game more tightly.
Overall, I liked it a lot! Keep up the good work!
Hello, fellow GDevelop first-timer! It's very cool to see, knowing some of the instruments this tool provides, how you creatively used them (in a way I did not think about) to create aesthetics of something in the ranks of Thomas Was Alone and Co.
Worth the effort you put into it. Nice game!
appreciate it, likewise
The art style is absolutely gorgeous! I especially love the cover image you made, it had me want to play the game instantly! Some things!
The character definitely feels very weighty! try making him fall down a bit slower, this could be intentional on your part but I think you should try lowering the speed of how fast he falls.
The spikes have a deceptively large hit box, and its annoying trying to jump over them, you should try shrinking it, making it a lot smaller. I think it'd even be good if the player clipped into the sprite a bit before dying.
Keep it up!
very cool! plus for a first game it's very good!

Like the music and graphics.
i liked the vibes, needs some gameplay polish
Loved the aesthetics of the game!
funky art
Very aesthetically pleasing game! I would have preferred fewer but more polished/meaningful levels. In the end I got stuck in a level where I would die as soon as I touched the key (Screenshot). Not sure if that was a bug or if I missed something.
Good job!
yeah, the last level was a test level. It wasn’t supposed to exist in the game
I see! At least that means I didn't miss anything. Stuff like that happens in a gamejam so I get it. Cool game!
thanks
Looks really nice!
Platforming felt realy weird though. not sure if it is intentional as it kinda fits general mood and charecter's style.
