What a cool concept! Would love to see something like this expanded into a longer experience.

I liked the concept and the aesthetic of the game a lot. It was fun to play.

Very awesome and creative, I felt like I was playing in a live old school brochure.

The artstyle, font choices, audio design and color pallet, are all really excellent. I felt like the mouse sensitivity was a bit low on my machine. Also I don't really enjoy reading a lot of text, and sometimes the fonts were a bit hard to read for me. The parkour part of the game was a lot of fun.

I love how creative you are with the sounds ! Of course, the aesthetics are also great. It's refreshing to see a theme like this one. Good job !

Really cool and unique concept with a great unsettling story.

This is my favorite thing I've played in the jam so far. Such a cool concept, and you knocked it out of the park with every aspect of the execution. Seriously impressive!

Very cool! The aesthetics are especially strong, the 1920s theme really comes across. Cutting off the player's peripheral vision with the narrow perspective really works, I feel, and the final sequence is executed well.

Played this one on Linux using WINE and noticed no issues, so that's cool too, haha.

Developer

Haha so I actually developed this on Linux, but after the deadline I realized I messed up the Linux build and figured I shouldnโ€™t tamper with it after the jam ended so I just removed it :( truly a shame, I promise it wonโ€™t happen again, please donโ€™t disown me Linux users… but yeah, I also tested it with WINE lol

really love this one. it's incredibly unique in it's aesthetic, it has a strong theme and a fun, unexpected climax. i feel like it only starts to build up towards the very end but the first 2/3rds of it are more impressive for their novel execution and then right when you got totally used to it it starts to change in interesting ways. really great job!

Awesome, glad to hear the pacing worked out! I was worried about the longer beginning but I think it was important to set the scene. Thanks for playing!

Really great game I think. I loved pretty much everything about it! The text was a little hard to read but admittedly I never really learned to read handwriting lmao.

The way you organized the screen was awesome, I love the sides being reserved for the newspaper articles. Super creative! The audio as well was chef's kiss. Also, the environment and lighting, you nailed it.

Great submission!

Thank you! Yeah, I was looking for more legible handwriting fonts but I didn't want to spend too much time searching, haha. Glad you liked it!
