Good graphics, atmosphere as well!

The main menu and how the more realistic vs abstract visuals are a nice touch!

Camera game me motion sickness so maybe the walking wiggle could have been a little more gentle ^^

Really cool atmosphere! It would be nice to have a place to hide
I enjoyed the experience, great job!

Thanks, this has been suggested by a couple of people so it’s on the list to add to give it an Alien Isolation feel.

The head bobbing is a bit too much but other than that, great game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks. I had one other person complain it made them woozy. I’ll add an option post-jam to remove it (or tone it down).

I think this is fun little game. It sort of reminded me a bit of slender but I found a "bug" which makes avoiding and getting away very easy. If you hold forward and either left or right you basically double your speed.

Developer

Nice catch! Will look at fixing that in an update.

Cool game with great graphics and sound design. I really had fun playing it.

Submitted(+1)

Really wanted to give this one a go especially since you played my game as well, and clearly the game works because everyone else is playing it no problem but unfortunately I don't think my machine can run it because it keeps crashing after the opening scene loads. What I can see looks awesome though!

Developer(+1)

Sorry to hear that. Not sure about the crashing as I haven’t heard about that and I don’t know your specs. If there is a crash log or screenshots I’d love to see it to figure out any issues.

I'm sure it's totally on my end and I wouldn't worry about it but, yeah I'll do a screen cap video and send it when I get back from work today!

I booted the game up a couple more times today and on the first loading screen I got that "Program is not responding" thing where you can either close the program or wait for it. And I tried both and it froze a few times, but then one time after I waited, it actually went to the next screen with the three lives and the room, and then every time after that it actually loaded alright!
But unfortunately, it was still too choppy on my computer to really appreciate but I can say the atmospheric music and visuals were awesome and you did a great job of creating the dankness of the underground!

Developer

Okay, thanks for trying. Like I said post jam I’ll see if I can optimize it more so hopefully your system can run it. Stay tuned if you’re still interested in the progress and I appreciate the support.

I enjoyed the metro atmosphere and visuals, very good job there, it did remind me of when I played games like metro 2033, sadly my pc couldn't handle the game very well, I have potato pc xd, but it was fun avoiding and bamboozling the enemy. I managed to find two fuses, but they were hard to see, maybe having them glow every few seconds or something like that would be cool!

Also I suggest some settings to lower the resolution or that kind of graphical settings, and I enjoyed how the music changed when the enemy got really close!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the play through. Yes I’m going to add settings and some more optimizations post-jam to see if that helps. Will certainly look at highlighting the fuses to help. I was going to put a map in of the level with some markers indicating where the fuses are, just didn’t get around to it.

I thought the idea of the game was good, but unfortunately I couldn't escape the monster at all and I encountered some bugs:

1- If I move the mouse too fast, the camera becomes very strange and sensitive.

2- As shown in the image below, when I was caught, I fell off the map.

loved the look of the game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks. Sorry, falling out of the map is always fun. Need to put that all important “teleport player back to start when the developer screws up” trigger. Yeah, the monster can be a pain. I think if i add some more routes for escaping or something that might make it easier.

Submitted(+1)

You can also add some Outlast 1 style cabinets for the player to hide in.

Developer

Great idea. Never thought of that. Will look into that.

Submitted(+1)

I like the design of the game. However I feel the gameplay may need something more to make the game insteresting. A quick tweak, If may suggest one, would be to show a fuse very close to the player in the beginning so to know what you are looking for. The environment is very big and going around without knowing what I was looking for was a bit frustrating.

Developer(+1)

Thanks. Great idea and I’ll look into that. I do have them in screenshots on the itch page specifically showing them. Also I added lights above them so you would be able to spot them in a room but will look at making it a bit more obvious or help the player more.

Amazing aesthetics!

Developer

Thanks. I was hoping for some creepy vibes.
