One of those Super creepy game, well for me atleast... its been super fun playing this, and also sometimes make me wonder how long you guys spent on making this assets... its super high quality and detailed!
though... i really didn't expect much from the FPS as i anticipated, My laptop run this like it has a stroke!
anyhow love the game!
Man, this is such a treat for someone who really liked fears to fathom. The graphics are super nice.
However, I had to play the game 3 times because I keep getting confused on what I should be doing. Could not find the current active goal. First time I completely missed I had to arrange the chairs.
Doesn't help me when I miss what I should be doing I am running around the house with a "body" in the front window, gave me an anxiety on going outside the first time.
When I took out the trash, I didn’t close the door behind me … I told myself I’d made a mistake when I saw what happened next: someone must have broken into my house! And … it turned out to be just that! I enjoyed “doing life” on a simple Halloween night. The fact that there were no directions to the places I needed to go (for example, to the washing machine) made me feel like an amnesiac who didn’t know his house haha. But snooping around every room in the house still added a dimension of fear. Well done!
Man, that's a very cool entry, the amount of work you have put into it is impressive (especially in solo !).
The game look good and the sounds are great. I would have loved if the end was a bit slower (like making you understand slowly that you're getting chased until reaching the inevitable end ) because it felt I died too quickly.
Anyway, its an overall very good entry :)
This is nice! I love the menu and the flickering light in the garage. I assume you were inspired by Clap Clap and Fears To Fathom... I didn't realise the objectives had to be done in a linear order so I was confused that I couldn't pick up the laundry or trash, and the ending sequence was a little fast, but overall a nice experience!
This game has very nice visuals, well done!
One of the things I think it stands out is how you can interact with a lot of things inside the house, makes for something immersive!
The light switches were a bit difficult to spot sometimes, but one the lights were on visibility was good.
I liked the slow build up of tension, doing menial tasks while an evil presence lurks by. I thought there was going to be some sort of escape scene at the end, just ending the game in a jump scare felt abrupt. It took me ages to find the washing machine, had to look at a youtube video posted in your comments to see where it was.
I had thought of two endings but time was short and I had to make the simplest ending. Do you have any ideas what I could do to make it easier for people to find things? One says he couldn't find the dog, another says he couldn't find the dog's food and you say you couldn't find the washing machine. Thank you very much for playing and rating the game.
For me, I just didn't see that there was an extra room in that short corridor. If the washing machine was in any other room, I would've found it.
For the steak, it's in an odd place. It would make more sense for it to be in the fridge or on the kitchen counter.
For the dog, there could be a light close to him so you can actually see him. And, if I remember correctly, the door leading outside was in a dark corner, there should be some light there. And reduce the lighting in unimportant areas and objects. Players tend to gravitate towards shiny objects since that's what games have been teaching us to do for decades.
The game impresses with its cohesive low-poly style and interactive apartment environment, which adds to the immersion. However, the ending fell flat, as I expected more from the maniac setup than just a jump scare. While there are some odd design choices, like the misplaced trash bag, the game overall was enjoyable. Thank you for making it!
Fun little Halloween story with some nice retro aesthetics.
The lighting definitely makes it difficult to find some things, especially in the pitch black back yard finding the dog is difficult. NOTE for any others playing, you can find the dog by going into the backyard (through either sliding glass door in the kitchen or the door in the garage), then go right until you find the fence, then follow the fence left around the yard until you find the dog house, with the dog sitting in front.
Side note: The settings menu is broken, neither pressing esc or the on-screen back button seem to do anything. Also the video tab doesn't work at all.
I really liked the story setup and the atmosphere and aesthetic was really good but I was unable to find where to feed the dog.

I apologize for the bugs you encountered
To return to the previous menu, you need to press the "E" key. I forgot to update the return image, so it seems that it doesn't work. And I added the "VIDEO" button at the last minute, I'll remove it.
The dog is outside the house, in the back, take a look there.
I'll check out your game this weekend, thanks for playing and rating my game.
