Hello! Wonderful game, and love how the connectors pair with the physical locations of the streets, creating an ingenious visual puzzle. I think I have figured out why some players are having a little confusion with mechanics that may assist. The puzzle design is intuitive, but the naming of the streets sometimes varies, making players search elsewhere other than the correct street they've already labelled. For instance - origin and Creation are meant to be the same street, as are Cattle and Castle Street. Not sure whether it's down to translation or understanding the ambiguous instructions of callers, but hope that helps others solve the puzzles!

thank you, this was very valuable feedback and a problem we didn't know we were having. we're currently working on fixing the street naming issues, it wasn't intentional. thanks for playing :-)

No worries! I think you absolutely should keep on with this game as it's an ingenious idea around telephone connections. I like that the dialogue provides context cues for the player to investigate and locate the correct connections based on their own inference. There's some really good puzzle gameplay here.

Honestly, I'm struggling to get it—there definitely needs to be a clearer tutorial. Right now, it just says, 'Start by connecting 2E,' and assumes that makes sense. But why connect 2E in the first place? I'm sure there’s some logic behind it, but the game doesn’t really explain. I spent about 5 minutes experimenting but still couldn’t figure it out. Sorry!

Developer

hey, thank you for your comment :^]

the game assumes on purpose that the player already knows what switchboard operators were, somewhat at least. it's designed to be this ambiguous but you're right on the tutorial needing to be clearer, we're working on it. still, thanks for playing!

Was a bit complex for me😅, but still so cool!

Interesting idea, for me the connection job without any map or knowledge was a bit confusing. But I tried 3 times and on the 3rd playthrough it clicked that the people asking drop some hints and from there I figured it out.

I loved the story, I missed some details, or anything about the protagonist. Also it got a bit boring after you had to connect 3 callers for the third time. But even than you did make something unique and enjoyable, congrats!

Hi barnanemes! Thank you for your kind words, it means a lot to us :^]

It was intentional for the game to be somewhat confusing at first but we're listening to all the feedback to work on making the design more understandable, especially the notebook (like having a postit already on it showing the answer to the first riddle), if you have any ideas based on your experience don't hesitate to tell us!

I couldn't fully understand how to use the connectors, but other than that it's an interesting idea with some nice historical horror.

Also, ESPAÑITA MENCIONADA VAAAMOS!!!

bastante interesante donde se desarrolla el juego, y una mecánica principal bastante pulida. Creo que el uso del mapa es bastante complejo (personalmente) pero no quita que este guay, muy buen proyecto
