As a polished prototype this has a good footing to being a good exploration horror game!
The aesthetics were great, I loved the screen effects and the texturing. Perhaps a setting to lower the opacity or switch off the HUD effect? I could handle it, but if you were to extend the story I could see it being a bit much on the eyes after some time.
I agree with some previous comments that there feels like there should be an element of danger or haste, not necessarily a chasing enemy, maybe the objectives are slipping into the static and in order to keep them here longer you need to interact with TVs so you can reach them in time? Just a random thought, but I really liked the style and idea behind this.
Good work!
Very cool, loved the character design, especially the diegetic UI pointing you where to go. Super neat aesthetic as well, would love to learn more about the story of this world! Only wish that there was more to do/explore. Excellent work!
Highly effective exploration-based horror game. The theme is employed incredibly well through the association of visual glitches and static. Exploring at the walking pace creates this ominous atmosphere that works very well. I liked the inclusion of pieces of lore scattered through the initial stages of the level and it kept me wondering about what I was doing and where I was. The gameplay mechanic of locating objectives through changing channels of static on a television strapped on your back is ingenious! In terms of constructive feedback, I think the next steps for building on this would be to find a gameplay mechanic that reinforces the tension or danger. Being chased is the go-to, but I think there's plenty of opportunities to go down a time-based or the adventure/puzzle route too. With a setup this effective, the possibilities are limitless! Great work.
Thanks for being a part of the Scream TV jam!

i loved the atmosphere and graphics, really nicely done, the psychological factor does a great job making it creepy and "uneasy"
One of the better games I've tried in this jam! Love the feel and aesthetic of it. Great job!
The game very much had a psychological feel which I was completely bought in to from the beginning! I thought that the setting felt very fitting for the 'story' and gave me the creeps as I explored the level. One thing I do gripe with is the channel changing. It was difficult to tell which channel to switch to to go on to the next objective. This lead me to being lost for a moment, but I figured out the level layout after that. Overall very weird experience which is BIG PLUS for me. Would love to see more of this in the future. Great job!!!
Loved the atmosphere, reminded me of Silent Hill and I was left craving for more. I really enjoyed it, I was mesmerized the entire time, please tell me you plan on adding more content!
Very atmospheric with a great art direction. I enjoyed the mechanics and sound design, but the pacing felt a slow, even though it worked for the premise. Player animation felt a little funky but developing a third person perspective in a jam is impressive enough. The game left me wanting a little more narrative and story, but it also felt right to leave things vague and allow the player to come to their own conclusions. Nice work altogether!
This was well made. Graphics, sounds and atmosphere was basically perfect. The only thing that was even somewhat lacking was the horror, though I liked how there weren't any jump scares. Also was surprised to see a game made in Unreal. Well done!
Really enjoyed the atmosphere building and the sound design! Very cool concept of the compass along with the sound design to tell the player where to go. Loved the aesthetics of the old playstation graphics and the cool glitchy people.
Wish there was more interactability and story, perhaps more spoops! Only say this because I wanted to keep playing! Keep it up!
