Great game with a lot of fun mechanics!

This one really surprised me! At first I wasn't much of a fan of the whole theme you were going for, but it grew on me as I played and you made the most out of every mechanic! The gravity switching had some especially creative challenges. Bravo!

Smooth gameplay.. style is not my cup of tea, but you achieved what you were going for. It took me a while to realize i had to shoot the first target.. an explainer there like the jump would have helped..  i kept trying to jump at it.. luckily i saw it in the screenshot or i would have left it then. I think because you explained the first action so nicely, i expected to be using it, not seeing the next explainer. I like the sounds of baloons and the various carnival themed objects. Well done!

Great game, you’re getting lots of praise and rightfully so! I really enjoyed playing as the cute lil duck :P Honestly I think the sprite would read clown instead if the nose were only two pixels wide instead of three, taken off either side. Also I think you had room and could’ve given him the hair tufts the title screen clowns have. The music stayed enjoyable which is a great accomplishment for a style/aesthetic that can be extremely tiring very fast. Sound effects as a whole were fine, but I found the star sound effect a little annoying, especially that one section where you get two in a row. I also feel like having a star powerup in a platformer that makes you glow and plays a song but doesn’t give invincibility is some kind of heretical blasphemy, which is perfect for clowning, but with the way it’s introduced I honestly had no idea what it did until the last room and still am not sure when or if it’s ever necessary to win?

Scoped really well, executed really great, congrats on this :)

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you on the star power up for sure, it was a last minute addition and i didnt utilize a speed boost well at all. experimenting now with how to make it better :D

I know your supposed to be our competition. But wow, this game made me want to go back to the drawing board. WARNING, THIS GAME IS SUPER ADDICTIVE!!!!! excellent across the board, all you need to do now is start a kick starter and marketing campaign...I'm sorry, im just speechless right now...*staring up at the ceiling...thought i was playing for 5 min not 30 min...smh. only complaint is, please warn us next time you make something so addictive lol.

I had a lot of fun playing this game! Super solid level designs and interest use of the mechanics! Using the balloons inverted was pretty cool and I hate-loved the inverted wall jumping lol. Besides that, the art and design are really well polished too.

Pretty much the perfect submission! Challenging enough on the first run to be interesting but not so too hard to the point that you want to quit. I think this will be perfect for people to speedrun! I also played a few runs with the goal to get my time to sub 200... got a 199, so I'm gonna quit it for now :D

Oh and I forgot to mention: You packaged all this into a unique colorful artstyle with the fitting wacky music... Phenomenal job!

I think you really need to add some volume control but other than that it is an amazing game you nailed every aspect of gameplay except when the music and sounds become too repetitive it would need some mute button or to lower the volume.
