Very well done! My only recommendation  is that I would have liked to be able to plant more than one sunflower. (Unless you already could and I was just dumb while playing)

Developer(+1)

Nope, you're not dumt. We are. Didnt manage to get that in due to the time and that we are n00bs. ;)

Well this game is certainly a contender for the art category. If anything, be proud about that fact. The game has amazingly made pixel artwork with very nice music playing in the background. The only thing that limits this game is that you can't place more than one flower in the ground, and there's nothing else to spend your coins on. It is a very short experience playing this. But being nice, this is a fantastic start for a possible game, so great job!

Developer

Thank you! I think (well, duh) that we overscoped big time as this was our first jam and first game ever. 🙈 And really, we didn't know what we were doing half the time. 😂

Submitted(+1)

Nice! Really liked the art! Only thing this game needs is some bug fixing.

HostSubmitted(+1)

This is really nice. It has such a chill vibe, I like the music, and the art is honestly some of the nicest pixel art I have seen! I found a few gameplay issues like being unable to plant more than 1 flower, and the timer bugged out a bit and went into minus numbers. With a bit more dev work and polish you could be onto something great here.

Good game, 100% respect for the theme of the jam! And the music is really well chosen for the game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you really much!

Goodness this was a amazing zen type of game! I loved the music, art, and gameplay incorporated in this. I especially love these types of games as well because they are so peaceful, which is why I really wish this had more to it because I feel I would of been there for hours, maybe days XD. Could I ask though, was that 8 -bit music made for this game?

Spectacular job on this game! I have no words for how much effort was put into this.

A few things I noticed, but didn't really matter were:

  • When I muted the sound and unmuted it, the UI got stuck to the unmute picture.
  • I couldn't move those ants you mentioned in the description ):

Also though as feedback, you could add a little bit more help to players. I found myself struggling to see how the buttons and controls worked at first and how to plant and grow my seed.

Developer(+1)

Wow! Thank you! That is amazing feedback! Yes, the music was made specifically for this game. I really want to explore this game more, because I feel it has potensial to be a (as you say) zen-like experience. I totally agree on everything you say. PS: Don't know what happened to the ants. They would be picked up some minutes before submission ;)

The grass might be a problem, might easyer if you scoop the ants up with the leaf first🤔

Great graphics - I wish I could draw like that. Love the little scarecrow. Honestly the art and sound are gorgeous.

Your game has a super relaxing vibe. I wish there was a bit more to do as I would definitely be happy spending more time in that world!

Thank you very much! I hope to maybe develop this further one day.

This is a relaxing game from its visuals and audio. For gameplay I really wished you could of plant multiplayer flowers at the same time. Especially if there is a timer ticking down.

Developer(+1)

I absolutely agree! Unfortunately we did't have the time.. Also, we are n00bs :P

You still made a quality game in a limited amount of time for a game jam. Be proud with that!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! And my first ever game too. ;)
