How does your game fit into the Theme?
As is, it doesn't much, but there is a bomb with wires and a time aspect.
Originally there was intended to be a wire cutting minigame, not for the bomb but for a defuser-bot.
Does your submission incorporate the flavor?
If it does, how is the flavor used?
You are a rogue bomb squad operative.

A very intense and well put together game! The music and sfx are very well suited to the gameplay also. You really feel the damage being taken which is awesome.
Feedback for improvement: The pixel art is nice, although the walls and floor are the same colour, so could be slightly improved by shifting the colours to contrast them a little better. I like the tactical element between moving and shooting, although I think the gameplay could also be improved by allowing the player to move slowly while shooting.
This is a really great entry, and all the more impressive for being a solo one, and your first! Great job :D
I really like the idea of this! my biggest trouble was that right at the beginning, there is an enemy that can almost immediately start shooting at you and that's a bit of a "feels bad" - not having any reprieve from the second I click start is rough. Other than that, great job!
For a first game this is better than anything I could ever create if this was a full game I would buy it I love the art though the bomb doesn't have a purpose.
I love your drawing of my little guy, thanks so much for that and the feedback :)
You did a good job, especially for your first game. I would've liked if I was able to move and shoot at the same time; otherwise, I'm forced to shoot in short burst and then run away.
Maybe also some kind of a dodge roll maneuver ala Enter the Gungeon?
Thanks for the feedback!
Nice game! Really cool interpretation of the theme and very creative! Well done!
I had more fun playing it than I had thought :D.
I really like the feel this game have with graphic, audio and gampeplay combined. Good job!

It seems like you had some really interesting ideas that didn't make it into the finished game due to time constraints. Great work nevertheless!
This is pretty good for a first game. The combat is fun, the enemies have decent enough AI, and the audiovisuals are good as well. It would've been cool to see other enemy types and interactable objects, but I understand if time was a constraint.
It’s a fun minigame, graphics could be improved (the grass is higher detail than everything else), gameplay is fun a little boring doing the same the level over and over again, having random levels or just more premade levels would be a nice improvement
This game was a lot of fun! I ended up finding a lot of hidden tech for the game and got some scores that were probably far beyond intention. The gameplay was very, very fun and the music really helped that determined feeling the game gave me stick. I'm having a hard time figuring out how this works with the theme, but the gameplay is great. Main complaints would be the guy who shoots you the first frame the game starts up and the random spawns can lead to getting ko'ed outta nowhere.
My high score is 299!
Thanks for the feedback :) There was supposed to be more "wire" related gameplay, which you can see the art for in the description. As for difficulty, I erred on the side of too easy rather than too hard. I realize spawns and some cheese strats need fixing, but I left as is for the time I had.
The art style is good, and the gameplay is solid if nothing else. I didn't get much in the way of the theme though. I could be blind, but I couldn't find the bomb anywhere.
Thanks for the feedback! There was a small layer bug when building as WebGL, the bomb is now visible. Although it doesn't do anything still :/ never got to that part.
