I liked this one. Card games are always fun and having one with lewd rewards for winning a fight even doubly so.

The mechanics are quite good and there's strategy involved in which card you should be picking for the current round of combat. Shame the plot doesn't move very far from the beginning, but there's still game to be had here.

The presentation is nifty, the music is very catchy. There's this cabaret quality to it which suits the tone of the game very well. All in all it's a really great start for a fun experience.

A very cool card battling game. Took a little bit to understand some of the mechanics. But it was really well done and I could easily see this becoming a larger project. The art style and music were very cool and I like how the cards were immediately tied to thing such as your armour and such. I am excited to play more. ~

This game looks great, sounds great, plays great! There's a nice amount of depth to such a simple combat system, and I found myself having fun for a lot longer than I thought I would (definitely wasn't just farming for that super rare sling bikini). I really wish there was more!

The menu background got a good laugh out of me, as did the dialogue leading up to the witch's battle. Nice touch. Liked the battle mechanics too, as well as the overall style of the game. It's got potential!

Simple card battler that promises a lot of depth!  It's not obvious at first exactly what's happening (cards getting weaker as they're attacked) or exactly how the type strengths/weaknesses is modifying the numbers.  I think a little '-2' popping up on the card to let the player know what just happened would be helpful.

Also, instead of drawing cards randomly, perhaps start with the clothes on the outside and work your way in as they disappear?  Would add a strategic element as the player has to decide what kind of clothes to play at the beginning of the battle vs the end.

Excited to see where it goes from here!

One of the better card games I played in the jam! It was just a little confusing at first, but I got the hang of it quick. There's a level of randomness but still it offers a good amount of strategizing with cards. I like that it didn't stop just at attack and defense but also featured some type advantages.

I love that the cards show visually as the character's outfit and it kinda made me want to lose clothes to see all of them on the sprite, haha. Music was awesome, art was lovely, and the game as a whole shows great promise, should the people behind it wish to develop it further.

The presence of a story button just made me want to see more! Maybe disabling it would've been a wise choice, but it's not a big deal really.

Over all, great project, I liked the card game mechanics, and I loved the art, awesome work!

Definitely took a minute to wrap my head around the mechanics but after that, this was a really fun card game. You also melded the mechanics with the kinkier-aspects very well too. Definitely ambitious in scope and yet you managed to pull off quite a bit for just 1-2 months of work. Well done!

The use of RPG maker was surprising, but its a decent system overall. Took a bit to understand what exactly was happening and why, but once I got it, it became pretty intuitive.
Big fan of how the equipped cards actually change how you look, I adore those systems in games.

I hope you'll forgive late reply, I didn't want to effect anyone's ratings of my game!

I'm hoping the game will be a lot more readable/understandable in an update I'm pushing out sometime in the coming week or so- but it'd be hard to have a brand new first impression.

I also love dress up systems. I kind of want to play with them more in the future, sometime~ Maybe next year too? hehe~

Beautiful art, even with the slight head start this is a lot for a single month! There are plenty of items to wear and each one has both card card and equipment art associated with it. The reward illustrations are very lovely and have some real personality to them. I love all of the details like the card backs, borders, animations and the gorgeous title screen!

The story is simple, but this isn't the kind of game that needs something extensive, so I appreciate that it gets to the main action quickly. There are well-fitting music and sound effects for everything that happens.

The gameplay feels like it could have a little bit more depth and strategy with different effects for some item. I think you should include a small icon of the element strengths and weaknesses somewhere to remind players what the cards do.

Seeing this done in RPG Maker is both incredible and a very clever use of the engine. You picked a concept that makes good use of what RPG Maker has to offer, while also adding lots of your own elements on top to make something truly new and special. Really awesome work!

I absolutely sent your praise to the pinup artist Funky Kiki the moment you posted it, hehe~ (Pssst she's available for commission in case you'd like to steal her for your own work~)

And thank you bunches on the other art praise- I did all the sprites, backgrounds, cards, etc~!
I agree on the gameplay needing more, there's some framework for more (Action Cards), which is being worked on for a future update.  You're also right on the money with the icons or indicators for elemental strengths and weaknesses.

Also thank you~! I was hoping the system of database RPG Maker has would be great for putting together a game with lots of items (cards in this case). Maybe one day I'll outgrow the engine, but not today, haha!

You've made a fun and very pretty game. I'd love to play it again if it's expanded!

It's a cool game idea, and a good execution as well.

RPGMaker is a weird engine choice for a game like that. If you don't want to limit yourself to classic JRPGs, then learning a more flexible game engine might allow you to accomplish more with less work. But you do you.

Thank you for your praise!
If you're curious, I chose RPG Maker is because I'm a newbie at programming. The overhead would have been too much trying Godot for the first time. So here we are!

Amazing artwork and really good foundation, the combat is pretty nice and no big problems to complain about, will look forward to seeing a story mode.

A creative concept well executed, UI jank aside.  Good art, good music choices.  Variable clothing always makes for a good game system, though it tends to require a lot of art.

I'm usually a little scared off by card games because they look complicated, but this one was easy to understand and taught itself to me quickly.  I do feel like sometimes I only won a round because the opponent decided to play the obviously wrong card, but there's a limit to how intelligent you can make the AI when you don't have many cards implemented yet (it would end up being you always lose or you always win), so this is fine for a proof-of-concept.

Thank you for all the kind words! And glad you enjoyed the card game, I personally like them simple and easy to pick up myself!

Also noted on the AI.
Defensive plays seem to be the way to go a lot of the time, but our AI favors aggressive choices. We have more variation to the AI ready it just needs me implementing it.  So look forward to that in the near future!

Plays pretty fine, the choice of the rpg maker engine is kinda clunky to the ui but theres a cool base game here that could be expanded with card effects and stuff like that.

The honest reason for the choice of RPG Maker is because I'm a beginner at programming, and I needed the means to make the game in case our programmer (Cooper) had to attend to personal life matters. He didn't have to- so the game turned out great instead of passable!

Card effects are planned for a future update, though I have no timeframe for when that'll be.

Interesting gameplay loop, although it needs some polish - for example, it’d be better to select the card directly instead of from a list. Still an interesting idea, and the win screens are a fun reward!

Thank you kindly! You can expect selecting the card directly in a (eventual) future update, it's something I wanted but didn't have time to prep/implement.
