the game was quite good and enjoyable to the gameplay to the music in the background in addition to this I also quite enjoyed the levels

Overall a good game but the only critique I have is that it took a little while to fully understand the controls while playing

A really great twist on a Mario inspired platformer, playing the game and getting all the points definitely was a challenge and required a deal of precision and skill most games don't require. The hit boxes for the bottom of the level could be improved as they were very sensitive to the player and resulted in some points being very challenging to collect. There is not much of an incentive to gather points, so implementing an upgrade system could have made the game even better and more re-playable. Overall it was a really polished game considering it was made in a week.

Really addictive game. Loved the retro sound effects you went with as it really sold the idea of your game as one to be found in an arcade. Art style was really nice and colourful whilst at the same time not being too complicated. Particularly liked your mechanics, like having the entire game upside down.

One critique from me would be the ease at which you can get a game over when trying to jump on the platforms closer to the bottom. Feel like if people were constantly getting game over for this reason you could possibly lose some players.

All in all, interesting game that really brought me back into the more retro era of gaming. Nice one guys.

A great and enjoyable game. Interesting and unique, definitely gives the idea of mario a spin.. It took me a bit of time to realise what I was doing. But after it was realised it was quite the enjoyable experience. I really liked that you made the game over screen more interactive as well.

This is really impressive, a very unique concept! The sprites are well made, and the fact that you can hold to jump higher adds a lot of depth, with the most valuable gems being higher and nearer the death area. The sound fits well, although I noticed that the jump sound is played every time you hit the spacebar, even when you are already jumping.

My only critique would be that it's too easy to just stay walk across the top of the screen without much jumping as you avoid all the obstacles. I know this means you won't get as many points, but I'd argue that for a platformer reaching the end of the level should be a challenge in itself.

Fantastic job, could definitely see this on the marketplace with a bit of polish!

Amazing game! The sprites and sound effects look awesome and the fact that it's essentially an inverted traditional platformer is so cool. :D

I really really like the uniqueness of this game! It really stands out from other things and is reminiscent of Mario, yet it has a twist.

I would have liked a mini explanation of how to play the game, the controls and main mechanics. The points system made me want to play it for longer though!

I liked the sounds affects and overall i enjoyed playing this game!

For the future I would remember to add your fellow teammates as contributors. A thoroughly unique concept and an interesting control style, visuals are well made and the game over menu being its own 'level' is pretty neat.

It took me a couple of minutes to find out how all of the game mechanics. I completed the level once before I realised you had an 'unlimited jump' and twice before I realised you could kill enemies by jumping into them. Was there a way you could introduce these ideas to players without explicitly telling them, perhaps through level design? Secondly, I think that the game is a bit short, but given the gameplay and the timeframe given this isn't a major problem. That being said, more levels (even in the same environment) could could have provided interesting ways of challenging players once they had a grasp on the gameplay mechanics.

Overall, this is a really good submission that really put a twist on the traditional platformer. This is something that I could see on the marketplace with further expansion, great work.

For some reason I was unable to install the game and it kept giving me loops of installing, but I liked how you included a video on your game which still gave me the chance to see it and review it.

From watching the video I liked how you included sound effects for items such as jumping, collecting items then a death sound effect as this made the game stand out  to me whilst watching, I liked how it was different by having the character upside down and jumping to collect the treasures, I feel for the cave game the sprites worked really well and the score counter to try and beat previous bests.
Would of liked to of played this but unsure why I could not install, but from what I've seen within the video a great attempt was made so well done!

I really enjoyed this, everything seems to work fine, the only thing I can see that would improve the game would be a life system.

Other than that the idea was good and game plays really nice, well done!
