Great execution, going with clicker heroes type gameplay really helps stand out from conventional clickers. I felt the gold achievement rate was a little slow to get hooked but the combat had a good gradual difficulty increase

UP2037603: I was really impressed with this game. The randomly generated boss names and enemy skin colour helped to create some variety in levels once you'd already worked through the brilliant set of backgrounds. The graphics quality and well chosen sound and music both give this the feel of a dungeon crawley despite being an incremental game (I liked that you switched the music for boss fights). I didn't have any difficulty picking up how to play the game with the clear UI and I very much enjoyed the use of moving objects like the menu button, damage tokens on enemies and the enemies themselves.

Really liked the video, the gameplay, the UI, the use of sound and music and the overall innovation and concept.
The start screen UI is amazing, the music an the animations really bring it to life and give it a high quality feel.
The use of sound is generally really great, from the hit sounds to the music it's really engaging. I would say that having a volume function would be a great addition though.

Big old well done to team Anything

I liked the start up but it was a shame that the "revalations" was floating a little too high and going in the the words above.

The floating badguy was a nice idea and the shop/recruit upgrades were simple i felt as though it took too long to get it 500 gold though and it was a shame you could only buy one of each recruit.

The changing backgrounds were very good and went well with the music however I did find that there was no way to quit the game.

Good game with some flaws.

The quality of finish on this game is insane. The art style and gameplay is all on point. I got up to round 25 at which point I had all the upgrades. I did however learn about a bug at this point that the boss healed randomly sometimes. So I clicked around and found that if you click on the health bar of the enemy you can change it causing you to instantly kill the enemy so I am now on wave 50. Other then that bug this game is excellent.

I really love the character design you have and the floating damage numbers! impressive :D

Played it for a fair while so the engagement from it's audience is really good.

Splendid job :D

Cool game love the animations for the damage indacators and the UI elements however find it confusing that you have a main menu button that closes the game but not a pause menu button that takes you to the main menu or that contains a quit button

An amazing idea, that was well executed.

Like the art style and the music, and I love the fantasy feel of it.

I don't have anything bad to say about it. So just a suggestion of what I think would be cool, if you made hits to different parts of bodies cost different amount of HP. With the way its going up and down you would have to pay attention, so you could keep hitting the head for example.

Developer

That's actually a really cool idea! I won't lie, we only made the enemies float up and down like that to sort of add a little life to them but your suggestion adds an actual purpose to it. Really wish I'd thought of that now aha

I adore the art style for this game, the title screen seems lacking compared to everything else however, perhaps some refinement as the text seemed to float over the play button. The pacing was rather slow however and I lost investment quickly

This is really well done! I love the idea of a clicker that you can lose. All the art assets are impressive - I assume these are all original? The subtle variation of enemies through colours and boss names is a nice touch.

Personally I feel like the pacing was a bit slow - it feels like a bit of a drag to buy upgrades.

However, very well done! I expect this to be high in the overall rankings.

The art assets are all originals and the music and sounds are all royalty free :). And we tried to implement incremental functions to as much as we can so we need to fine tune that a bit to make the pacing a bit better but other than that, thank you very much :)

I like the clicker hero vibes I get out of this game, except the upgrades are more on your own character rather than having an army of supporters which is nice. The design for the levels are well made and i like the characters as well. Two things I picked up on however was for the second upgrade, the cost would disappear after purchasing it a couple times. In addition I'm not sure if this is an intended feature however killing a boss no matter how far I got into the game gave only 10 coins with the standard mobs giving a lot more.

The game as a whole though is definitely a fun experience that i enjoyed playing.

Developer

Well that's a bug we must've missed when testing whoops! And the cointhing, yea I think we forgot to change that because the 10 coins was iirc only supposed to be a placeholder while we sorted out the incremental code but it seems that managed to slide under our radars through development aha

The characters and music are super impressive and the concept of a dungeon rush is well executed, it keeps you on your toes!

All I'd say is that the pacing is slightly off towards the middle, once you've bought the first boss, all the other upgrades other than sharpen are out of your price range until you've made it through maybe 5 dungeons?

I'm glad there's still an element of danger to it though, these games are no fun if you can just romp through, amazing work!

At its core this is probably something that you could create a releasable game from. It entertained me.

Developer

Thank you! That actually means a lot :D. And we're glad you enjoyed it aha
