A nice little arcade style game. I don't have a lot to say other than that it plays well and is straightforward. Map kinda reminds me of classic arcade layouts like Joust too

Wait, if it beeps like that and the game stops, does that mean I win?

If so, I did it without having the candy be touched at all. Though, there were some close moments. Must have been because I came in thinking one touch of the candy is game over.

Yeah, that means you finished. I didn't realize how unclear that was until after the jam ended, so only the post jam version actually has some text to make it clearer lol

I like that there are several enemies with different movement variations. The spawn order also can be memorized which helps me on advancing further in the game. I streamed the game here around minute 17 if anyone wants to watch:

I think I was close to the end, but unfortunately, I didn't manage to win.

Nice game!

I won!

I really liked the game! It's simple but fun, and the controls feel very smooth to get through.

i win!

wish there was some sorta score to see how awesome i was but i guess any% is pretty good. i got it first try without letting any ghosts get to the thing in the center that is probably candy. shift z space is kinda weird i woulda done shift zx but you know whatever

Short, simple and fun. I really liked how it was done.

I didn't know there was an end until I read the comments. That aside, Sanae's sprites look great, and her movement feels super fantastic.

This is good for what it is. Sanae is the cutest she's ever been in 16x16 pixels. The difficulty curve is well designed.

The character controls were nice and responsive,  had a nice feel. the control mapping was a bit awkward at first but got the hang of it after a few deaths.

The slippery controls remind me of Mario, and its good to have this as it adds more challenge to the game. The double jump + slow freefall feels great; also the way the direction you're facing at locks when descending is good too.

Overall, it was a fun experience! (They are really cute too so that's a win-win >:< )

The ghost's smiling is adorable! It is quite challenging to defeat multiple types of ghosts coming from different directions.

Managed to reach the end. Was pretty fun figuring out the different movement patterns of the ghost. I think this would extend nicely into a score attack mode.

Absolutley crazy amount of polish for a game made in 3 days. The controls were fast and responsive, the enemy variety added a lot of depth, and I loved how smug the ghosts were, hehe
