Enjoyed the game! I think if you could grab the corners of the triangles it would be easier to maneuver the triangles. I spent most of my time knowing how to solve a puzzle, but trying to get the triangles to cooperate.
I made the bad triangles clean up their room and sent them to bed without food. ๐
No, I agree, I have to change that. I stumbled upon that numerous times too.
It's especially frustrating when you have carefully aligned most of the triangles, and the last one catapults everything away because you clicked on the wrong spot. ๐
Very smart usage of triangles! The blue area is not distinct enough from the white one on my screen so I had to check twice on the first level, but after that, everything went very well.
Congrats!
Thank you. ๐
In regards to the triangle colors, yes, I suspected that might happen. I didn't want to change the color scheme last minute, but I might have to change it in the next version. ๐
Very neat and fun.
It would be perfect if you could add a 'restart' button, I have been able to lose a triangle into the ground and I had to restart from scratch.
Thank you. ๐
I hoped nobody would find that bug. ๐
There was simply no time to do anything about it. ๐
It is probably inevitable to have a few bugs on a 3-hours game, especially if you implement physics !
In any case, it does not alter the fun of the game :)
Good game :)
I noticed that the centre of the triangles would jump to the cursor when you press them. It would be nice if I could hold a corner of a triangle to move it
Thanks. ๐
Yeah, that would be one of the first things I would fix in the next version. The effect is even worse when you play on mobile. ๐
It reminds me of an old japanese game I used to play with my parents ages ago !
Adding the physics was a fun idea, even though it's tough to manipulate sometimes, it's part of the experience :) Congrats!
Thanks. :) Do you still know the name of the japanes game?
The physics are a bit janky at times, and need more polish, but as you said; it's part of the experience. :)
Just asked my family : it's tangram. And it's chinese, not japanese ! My bad.
Thank you. Another present on my wishlist for christmas. :D
Very cool concept! It's like a 2 part puzzle - first you have to figure out how the triangles need to fit together, and then you need to figure out how to get them rotated and positioned
Thank you. :)
Yes, I never thought about the two parts explicitly, but you are right. Physics for the win. :D
I really liked it! Simple and fun. And yes the physics are a good part of the fun.
I just miss some fx sounds to support actions feedback. But I didn't miss the music when I closed the game...
Hey, thank you for the honest feedback. ๐
Can you specify on which actions you missed fx the most?
In regards to the music, was it to monotonous, or what did you not like about it?
I think I miss the sound when a triangle hits the ground or another triangle. For the music, it's the monotonous aspect. It's hard after 2 minutes.
By the way, I appreciated not having a timer and taking all the time I needed:)
thanks for your input. ๐
Cool game! It could have been boring, but the physics of the little triangles makes it a lot funnier to play. It's a bit tricky, but not so frustating. Very well made!
Thank you. :)
Agreed about the physics; at first I wouldn't have them implemented, but since Godot has the option, I thought why not. And now they are pretty much responsible for a huge part of the gameplay. :D
It's also difficult to make physics NOT fun. ;) But they have some quirks, which are quite hard to iron out...
