Very simple, it has potential. The wizard movement at the platforming level is weird, the game is unexpected but ends very quickly. Is there a way to beat the police?

A very interesting game! I wish it could have been longer, but given the number of different playstyles implemented it's understandable. I would definitely be interested in playing again if it were to receive an update in the future.
Felt bit hard to play and jump, if thing the acceleration on the character make hard to control, and i died sometimes without knowing why (i guess was the wholes). I like the change on the perspective, reminds me Contra 3. Good effort
Some thoroughly unexpected turns throughout. At first I thought the switch of perspectives was an interesting move, but then the Pokemon style shootout & rebirth?? It was a wild ride (go house Sliderman)
Overall it could use polishing up, the jumping in particular felt very jagged, but the idea was interesting and you took it further than I'd anticipated. Nice work :)
I was smiling the whole time playing this game. Great usage of guilt immediately over the first orc kid. Nice twinges of humor and plenty of unexpectedness.
The 2d sidescolling was a bit fugly to play, but I still endured it because I wanted to see how it turned out. As others said the camera jumping was a pretty bleh and it felt like the wizard should have been moving before he actually is. I think if you lowered your axis requirement for movement it would help? Like it's waiting for input=1 and maybe it should wait for input=.25 or something.
The police fight wrapping it all up was pretty great. This wizard killed many orc kids, it makes sense the police are after him. I really liked the baby flashback too. We never think of our characters as babies. Good entry!
Funny Game, i like this concept of switching game genres, it is really unexpected, no matter if you know that genres changes, you will never know what genre would come next, good job.
The game is very humorous and has some unexpected twists and turns, I love it!! It definitely made me laugh a few times.
I love how you can shoot yourself in the face lol, I definitely did that more than once because the way the wizard bounced was very funny.
Picked the good old Sliderman in the end. Great job!!
Cute! The tutorial integrated into the level with text was great, and wasn't annoying if you died and went back to it, while still giving all the info you needed. Very much appreciated the humor as well with the orc kid and parent orc. I was confused why nothing happened when I tried to kill the big orc. Having a bit more "looks distracted...maybe you can sneak past" or something would be useful.
The jumping felt a bit off, which combined with the many holes in the level design made it a bit frustrating. The police fight was definitely unexpected!
In the beggining I was like oh, it's nice you took the time to implement both topdown and sidescroller, then I was like aaah, yeah! Unexpected! In the end I was like: For sliderman! Really enjoyed that xD
I'm soo happy to hear your feedback even though my game definitely lacks the polish compared to your game. I wanted to make more levels based on your house choice so the wizard can have different endings based on your choices but I got burned out near the end so didnt have time to complete it. Silderman is a strong house but they have alot of bad wizards in that house so be careful.
Hey - I liked the unexpected police fight because I think that the wizard definitely deserved to go to jail. It's been said before but on the 2d platformer part the camera and the colliders (with the wizard and the ground) felt off. I really enjoyed the joke where when you restart you're just a baby, I was 50% sure it was going to just end right there lol. Well done!
Really liked the idea and the art! Also the theme is 100% respected.
Good job!
I'll start saying that I'm fanboy of pixel art, so I love the art!!! :D And the game play look a little bit weird for me like when u jump the camera jump as well, and its a little bit annoying but the overall is really good, I like platformers.
