Great premise and application of the jam's theme. I think there's lots of potential, the idea of building complex Rube Goldberg machines in a VR context is very appealing (my child self's mind would've been blown!).

Developer

glad you liked it.   I agree,  I've a text file. of dozens of mechanics I'd like to implement like fluids and cutting of strings and newton's cradle type devices.

Great game, i like these kind of puzzle games where there are different reactions. Managed to complete all the three levels even if in the last one i cheated in the end by moving the ball on the platform to be able to hit the fan haha.

Developer

Hahahah Tut Tut Tut!  Glad you enjoyed it

A really original and fun idea! Got a little bit confused at the start of the first level as I didn't initially see the books on the right so was trying to grab the stacked books next to the ball, but didn't take too long to find the correct ones :)

Developer

cheers, glad you liked it

Super clever idea!! Honestly refreshing. I love physics based games and puzzles. That plane tricked me for a good few seconds, thought I had whiffed it. My main suggestion (and maybe it's nitpicky) is the character speed, I kept wanting to move faster to go pick things up and place them for testing out the machine.

If you have a chance this week to try my game out, I would love any and all feedback to improve gameplay!

Developer

Thanks for the feed back, i'll check you're out now.

Fun concept! I especially liked the music and the clown animations 😂

I'm glad you liked it, i did have to pay the clown danger money to stand there!

So well done. Pure joy to play through these puzzles. The airplane's animation definitely had me for a second lol

Thank you, glad you liked it

I really like the concept, and physics based games thrive in VR! Felt like a child 😃

Some minor feedback that would make it less finicky. Put the objects on another layer and disable collision between the player to not fly up.

When you grab object, especially the bigger ones, changing the attach point to the hand makes the placing easier. Occasionally when I grabbed the object, it snapped and pushed other things around.

But this is just minor, very good jam entry!

Developer

thanks for the feedback. I'll check the collision layers. ta.  glad you enjoyed it.

Hints come in handy! I've run into a bug when you take the books in level two, you suddenly start flying up.  A fun and original experience!

Developer

Yeah my wife complained about the kicking into the air bug and i thought i'd fixed it but clearly not.  I hope it didnt make you motion sick like it did her.

I had some fun with this game. On level 2, I was having trouble and accidentally whacked the briefcase into the plane using the trampoline and still passed. :)

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it.  I certainly had fun making it.  There is a sequence that i tested with but if you got it to work in some other order, thats all part of the chain reaction.
