It seems I have very short arms, tried to reach the telephone but since it moved with the headset too if I tried to get closer it stayed at the same distance. Will try playing again when I get one of those cyborg arms XD.
Lol that's weird! Should be distance grabbable, maybe it caught the table? Let me know if you can replicate so I can look into it.
Loved the voice acting and the matrix style, the intro is cool and the game overall is really interesting!
Hey I appreciate it! Will put some actual Matrix abilities in on the next pill choice I think . :) Excited to try your game this weekend.
Another Matrix fan here! The introduction is very cool, I really liked the beginning with the phone ringing. I took the red pill and got stuck on a balcony, I think it may be the same as the one AoQ comments on, I took a screenshot in case it helps!
Love to hear people getting the Matrix references!! Secret here is that you're in the right spot, just gotta stick your head one of these windows as they are portals too. Means you're at the VERY end of the puzzle. :) Thank you so much for playing!
As a Matrix fan, you had me from the start. An immersive environment with good ambient SFX and well optimized for Quest 2. I ended up getting stuck on a balcony, but overall still a fun experience, nice work.
Hey thanks for the kind words!!If you got stuck on the same balcony spot as Rustyroboz screenshot above, you're SUPER close to the end. Gotta use those window portals to find an entrance to the third floor.
This was really cool! The first scene with the phone was exciting. I got stuck trying to climb the ledges, though.
Thanks for trying it out wild opus! Ledges have proven to be a challenge, definitely gonna make it smoother on next iteration.
It's always incredible when some adds voice acting to a game jam and this is no exception. the opening scene is incredibly immersive and so cool to go through twice to get the full experience of both pills. The game ran amazingly on my quest one which always deserves praise because of it's limited hardware, amazing work there. I had fun with this one and can see the potential for a really cool narative focused adventure puzzle game. Amazing work.
Incredibly kind words, thank you so much! I do intend to expand on the narrative! The elevator at the end of level 1 here will take the player to the top of the skyscraper where they will get to choose between 2 new one-time use pills and lose their old power. Figure I can stretch the story into something more complete. :)
The intro is awesome! :)
Thanks Kirill!
Cool effects, cool game, loved how atmospheric it all feels
Thanks for playing, Aldo!
Fun climbing around! Agreed with others on the climbing over ledges issue. But the intro part was great, pretty surreal
Hey thanks for trying it out!! Will iterate on the climbing smoothness. :) Trying your game today/tomorrow, it looks incredibly well done.
Cool game, I liked how you could choose your "special ability" and change the entire game. The climbing worked great, I just couldn't pull myself up onto surfaces (maybe because the player collider was too big?)
Agreed! Made those first pillars quite a challenge to climb lol. This is one of the first things I want to improve when patching it, thank you for the feedback.
Hey! Fun aesthetic here. I love the voice over work. I got stuck on the second floor -- not sure if I'm supposed to use "physics-related" measures here, but I couldnt' figure it out.
Hey thanks for the kind words!! I'm guessing you chose the red pill if you were stuck on the second floor, right? If that's the case, no physics-related solution, just a teleport puzzle. :)
I'll be sure to check out your game this week! Let me know if you have any suggestions or tweaks, I love feedback to keep making it better.
