Thanks for feedback! I wanted something cute and simple for the character (who is some form of water spirit) and that's what I came out with. I only realized how similar it was to the Animal Well after finishing it! And yea, the optimisation is poor unfortunately, it mostly relies on Unity's in built 2D physics

Cool stuff! Liked the characters designs

Cheers! Aye balancing the difficulty was definitely something that i should've set aside more time for

Cheers! Yep optimization is definately an issue. I relied on Unity's in-built physics, and didn't really script anything to help manage the number of interactions happening on screen. The executable doesn't run much better surprisingly! Situations like this are probably why I should learn DOTS! Audio was a last minute thought and would've got more attention had I managed time better

Up this. As I've discussed on Discord, I was having issues during the submission process and had to redo everything last minute. Ended up overlooking the submission form. After I realized what had happened, I raised a ticket and got told they wouldn't allow me to fill the form. I mean I get it in a way but judging is open for over a week now, and it seems kinda arbitrary to shut off the forms at this point. People make mistakes. Would like to see how many other people missed the form and hope the organizers would reconsider.

Cheers! Had I managed my time better, I'd have included  tutorial elements and clearer indications of game mechanics, and of course balanced the difficulty more.

Great stuff! I'm always a sucker for lemmings-esque games. Use of the different phases of water to affect movement and interactions is clever and well thought out, and jealous because I wanted try phases in my game but had to scrap quickly scrap it! Impressed you got 12 levels with unique solution in the short time we had for the jam. Well done

The UI is terrible I know. I had been testing it in the Unity editor at a low resolution and only when I built it I relised nothing scaled properly. The (likely tiny on your screen) bar at the bottom tells you how much percent of water you have saved for the level. This text is bugged in the submitted build as it should reset to 0% at the start of each level but does not

Apologies for the hasty project description. I was having a few last minute issues with the project and literally hit submission with less than 2 minutes to go.

It's probably worth noting this game is physics heavy and not well optimised, so I can't garantee it will run well on older computers!

Should work with Gamepad as well - Jump with South button, and other trigger for asrobption.

If anyone is stuck for how to do things, you can use your momentum to sling water in a particular direction.

Credit to Codemonkey for his Unity fluid physics tutorial, the water physics in based around a modification of that approach.

As always I left everything last minute. I wouldn've liked to focus more on puzzle elements, but as of now it's really more of a physics challenge

Anyone remember catalysm for the Acorn computer? That was a funky game, I was hoping to get to something a bit like that!

I need sleep.

I was made redundant recently and need to build up my portfolio with non-VR related stuff, as I was getting a bit sick of that stuff anyway

Great premise and application of the jam's theme. I think there's lots of potential, the idea of building complex Rube Goldberg machines in a VR context is very appealing (my child self's mind would've been blown!).

Well polished and good satire! Planned obsolescence fit the theme of one time use very well

Little spoiler below;
I found receiving a so called 'negative bonus' hilarious, although at this stage it's not even outside the realm of possibilities that companies would start using that term :|

Cool idea! Reminds me very much of Outer Wilds, and having a dedicated VR game in that vain would work very well (and possibly very nauseating given some of the things that can happen in that game!!)

What a unique and neat concept, and very well presented! I regret drawing a penis tho

Smooth and stylish shooter! Play style is reminiscent of the modern Doom games. The dashing is well implemented (based on looking direction) and being able to combo jumps and dashes is satisfying. Impressive this was put together is such a short time frame!

You should be able to get out the window when you've solved the puzzle. Hint - there's moving and climbing furniture involved!

Unfortunately nothing happens when you win, you just fall out the window haha! I submitted the last minute really and didn't spare time for something interesting to happen

You can restart by holding the right thumbstick for a short duration

Cheers and will check your game out when I get the chance

My bad on the build setting not being correct. I thought I had set it, but I was in such a rush when I submitted the final build that I must've overlooked it!

Thanks for the feedback
