If you need to practice your an aptitude test then this is the game for you lol. Seriouly though, I really enjoyed it as it was challenging and rewarding when you figure out the puzzle!
Very modern looking graphic and transitions, pretty well made game, I wish there were more levels. Also level 1 is the hardest xD
good simple art, groovy music, and on top of that good puzzle design! :D
Truly a great simple, yet captivating, puzzle game. The background music is super charming and contagious. The color pallet a joy to look at. Truly loved the variety in hue, and the rich contrast. The gameplay, for the most part, just works. I must say I am very disappointed it doesn't have more levels, I NEED MOAR!
With all that last funny act aside, I think you guys have a great game in your hands to expand upon, and turn into maybe a full game. Doesn't have to be anything too big. I feel it needs more attention to detail in some minor but crucial areas.
One of the issues I had with the game was the line not spawning more times than I could count if you just didn't click at a certain angle. Other times it worked as intended. I also feel that, although very neat and helpful, the line snap would need to be made a little shorter in terms of detection.
Another issue I had, and i think this was the second most annoying one, was having to go to the right side of the screen to change tools. Maybe some people won't care, but it breaks the immersion a tiny bit, and when you make more mistakes it dries out the fun out of the game. A few solutions could be:
Add a command that makes it pop next to the mouse cursor, but that you can switch and wrap around using the mouse wheel. You could also add a shortcut, let's say the S key, to switch back and forth the two modes. If you wanted to take this a bit further, allow the users to set a key of their liking to it, that way everyone's happy.
I think that's all. If this is the level of polish you guys can put out in a week I can't imagine a month. Truly wonderful work!
Love the art style and animations! Super satisfying and fun!
I loved the design
Great use of colours to make simple art look great! And one design feature I really liked was how the tutorial box pulsates, it's a small detail but somehow makes the tutorial easier to follow
Wow, really really nice artstyle! Super polished in all ways. Some really great puzzle challenges and altogether a super great game!
I think having a hint button might be a nice addition but literally so good it doesn't even really need any changes!
Thank you so much!
The minimal art and awesome smooth transitions...what more do you need in a game. Loved the design and the animations. It's such a well made game. Could easily see this becoming a mobile game if you add more levels or randomly generate the levels.
The only thing that I didn't like is the eraser button. Just to erase a connection I have to move my mouse all the way across the screen. Right mouse click would be much better in my opinion. Expect that everything else was truly awesome!
Thank you so much!
We might even really want to work on making it one. :)
Really fun puzzle game with simple graphics which there was more levels because i had so much fun.
Thank you! :)
Yes. We ran out of time there, unfortunately, but maybe we'll add more in the future.
I try to provide meaningful in-depth feedback, but I this is just an incredibly well-made game. It was visually simple yet looked great, a clear tutorial on how to play, and fun mechanics in general. I can easily see this being a mobile game that people would enjoy. Specifically those who enjoy puzzles like Wordl and game like that.
Huge congratulations for the quality of this game.
Thank you so much! :)
We might even really want to work on making it a mobile game. :)
No problem. I say go for it!
Really cool concept ! I love the color palette and the overall minimalist approch, very clever ! And it's a really good game jam idea, a simple concept that can be perfectly executed. Really great job !
One word. Awesome!
I had the same issue Alexio Game had. I am probably missing something. I have attached screenshots if this can help. Other than that I love the transitions the chill vibe audio and the minimalistic but super polished graphics.
Maybe the level was a bit too complicated. :D Sorry for that.
The start is not included in the combination and must be deleted first, using the << shape.
Below is a possible solution.
Ohhh ok. Now I got it! I didn't get the shape was influencing the sequence. Might have been explained in the tuturial but I skipped some accidentally click everywhere :D. Super cool! A cool edit would be to give a special color to those shapes. Explaining they influence something else than just the sequence.
5 stars game :) Congrats! I really liked the scene transitions
Thank you very much! :)
Super polished game with a solid game loop. Only problem for me is that when I tried level 1 I entered what I'm like 99% sure is a valid solution, the game would just restart ðŸ˜
Hello :) Thank you. Can you describe or screenshot your solution? Maybe we have overlooked something.
