Nice game ! I Loved the "destroy gameobject" projectiles of the boss ! A lot of game dev jokes ! There is a clear potential for a cool plateformer / puzzle game with the boucing balls and the momentum jump. Btw powned the boss 1st try by standing in place ahah.
How I would improve upon this though : more juicy feebacks for every action/event of the game (visually and with sounds), more plateform and puzzle levels of course, maybe some hard to get collectibles (like in Celeste, SMB..) exploiting the jump to momentum jump to double momentum jump (shoot while mid air after momentum jump to make a second one, did it some times :p) and finally i'll add some enemies to shoot or to rush on with momentum jump and hidden rooms by clipping through random walls.
I love the game. it was fun playing it. but player becomes invisible all on sudden in the final level in btw glitches. overall other than this bug I had good time playing this. sound was awesome. please check my game too
The bug definitely feels like a bug in a good way, topic was clearly met, well done! Pretty fun, of course you're aware of the other unintentional bugs that mess with things, as per your description. But also... it doesn't seem to cost anything to gain momentum so, it's not all that challenging. Sombrero cutscene was a bit too long, not a good idea to remove control from the player, especially for a game jam where people are rating tons of games. But I would love to see this game get more polish and I hope you work on it after the jam!

Hard game, but fun mechanic. I agree with Skyan about making the momentum and jumping the same key but it was still pretty fun. Nice music too!
Amazing game with amazing sound & interesting story, Can I get the soundtrack xD
Jokes aside there were a few concerns that ruined the game for me
- On parts of the game maybe you could consider adding a max momentum height
- Also please make momentum and jumping the same key, the first time you press the space bar you use your momentum then the second time, its normal jump. That is a lot better than having two keys that I'm very confused by. XD If you do that it would feel like a more natural jump
- Fix that player walk cycle, its off a bit on the y axis. Use Unity animating to make it smoother
Still with all the setbacks your game is pretty great. You also made the player feel good when they figured out something on their own.
I am glad you gays added the arrow pointing up because now i could actually finish the game.

I like how the bullets always came back to you to give you momentum. Normally I wouldn't enjoy that kind of game as much but for this theme its perfect
