This is pretty fun! Even though the idea itself isn't innovative, it is extremely well made and polished. My only criticism would be that the levels all felt a bit samey. Usually, the solution is to throw yourself into every spike. I wish there were more interesting mechanics (such as the boss fight) throughout the levels, but I know it can be tough during a game jam. Nonetheless, I had a good time playing this :)

This was a really cute little game, even though the corpse mechanic is really overdone in this jam. The small elements of humor and the story in general made it a joy to play.
Some criticism:
- the jump feels a bit clunky at times ( I think its because there is no or not enough jump input buffer)
- sometimes the textboxes overlap the platforms and you have to just assume where you need to jump from
- textboxes still popped up after the character already died
Such an amazing game. I love the polish and the little details. The music also is great and fits the game so well.
Here's a picture of my character trying to keep it together and not rage. Would have been nice if the corpses couldn't collide with each other, but I guess that's just part of the game.
Great job!
SPOILERS :
This game had a surprising amount of humour in it. I laughed out loud at the birthday scene. The final boss was also really LOL-worthy as well. Speaking of which, this entire game had some really good level design and went beyond just using corpses for platforms. I loved how you had to use them to block projectiles as well and make a path. Also, just saying but squashing that first guy was really satisfying.
Having said these, the hitboxes seemed a little off along with the platforming in certain levels. One of the levels where you're first introduced to the green potion had an invisible wall which seemed out of place and was annoying. I also felt that some of the vertical wall sections had their spaces be a little too narrow. The dialogue was funny and interesting but sometimes, the dialogue bubble would cover the platforms which made things a little hard. Especially for the levels with the frog ( who was funny as hell lol).
Great entry none the less :)
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed the humor. Heine sight is 20/20 and I can't wait to fix those issues after the jam. Btw I'm sure you are well aware of this by now, but your game is great. For the love of all things holy, finish up that game and plop that thing on the market. I am more than willing to pay for that game.
Llamaking i didn't knew that you made a game for this game jam, otherwise i'll have played this before... Now i feel sad for not playing sooner :C
Well, i haven't much feedback, the game is already very good as it is... Well polished, super fun cool graphics and humor, yada yada yada... I'm sure you've hear it plenty of time by now... One thing that i really apprecciated that i want to point out tho (that many person already said, but still... :P) is that you didn't overdid the "use your corpse as a platform mechanic", it was just the right amount of usage that still showed the mechanic, but also made it shine among other games with similar concept
What i can tell you (and the only thing i can tell you, because everything is already done) is to add Koyote Time and Jump Buffer (www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QPmhDYn6rk). Also the what i'm assuming is the final boss (the big ufo that shots you) is wayy to hard to beat, i've tried for 10 minutes to beat it but i wasn't able to (maybe i'm missing something... idk :/)
Well, awesome game!! Good Job!! (^u^)
Ahhh! I love this. So many funny moments that left me chuckling. Art style is really charming. Colors are great, music is fitting. Very well done
This game is amazing! I love the art! I love the characters! The puzzles were smart! and it made me feel like an awful person (rip frog sheriff)
really fun and polished loving the artstyle and the music is a vibe!!!n :)

Wow, this game is really polished! I love the art and music, and the gameplay was super intuitive and really fun. The puzzles were engaging but never too difficult. Well done!
I've seen the concept of using your dead bodies as platforms quite a few times so far but this was one of the best implementations of it I think. I like how the bodies serve multiple purposes and it all seems very well thought out.
On top of that the visuals are also super well polished and i enjoyed the humour as well, very well done :)
This game is stupid and i love it. The art has that dumb face on everything, Daisy's walk animation was stupid, and everything about this game was reeking with goof and charm. This is probably one of my favorite games in general throughout the entire jam, and while the idea corpse = platform is very popular, the addition of it blocking shots and the potion saved it a bit. But the music, art, humor, and charm carry this game hard, I was laughing so hard when the first dude was crushed by a rock and then the windows theme played as the hat slowly appeared, only for me to go and stomp on the cake (And i restarted the game just to see if I could avoid it) And that's just the tip of the humor iceberg. The artstyle greatly contributes to the overall charm of the game, and the music, characters, and sound effects all were outstanding as well. Absolutely Amazing Game! (P.S. The stupid rant at the start was me just saying how hilarious and goofy the game was, not a form of insulting of any kind)
Funny and charming, loved the birthday cake scene and the sheriff! It's similar to some other "leave a corpse" puzzle games that were submitted, but being able to use your bodies as cover from bullets and as platforms made it more interesting. I got a couple bugs: in the last level the screen shrunk to 25% of its normal size, and in the 3rd area I was able to clip myself into the walls using the bodies.
Great art and had a good amount of polish. Great work!
hey! I have some feedback for your game:
- I wish the green potion body would not disappear after you died ( after dieing with green potion ).
- I also wish the puzzle with 4 shooters actually made sense besides "Just restart, because when you restart it takes a while before the shooter thingies shoot.
- Lastly, I found some weird bugs:
Overall a very good game.
